Whatever you do, watch the rerun of Hannity & Colmes tonight. They are discussing the City of San Fransciscos declining to accept the U.S.S. Iowa as a memorial.
Democrats on parade! The person interviewed (a democRAT) claimed the United States should have NO MILITARY!
Even Allen disagreed with this person.

Just caught this a few mins ago... I wasnt suprised that a law maker in San Franfreako would think like this... However, its pretty damm scarey that they are considered elected officials in Californiastan. This man wanted the police to defend us from foreign attack.. The cops are having enough trouble with domestic crime issues... This man probably would disarm out police if he had the chance to do so...

Uuh... yes!?! Ever hear of Washington High School? Minuteman murals in schools?
I'm glad that he said it was about the money it would cost to house it and then said that, really, no amount of money grants would matter. When this story first broke, they said it was about the money it would cost to maintain it, and then they agreed to host an MTV Extreme Sports event that involved covering a hilly street with snow for a day.

Hannity's point was that the ship defend freedom from the fascist Japs and the evil Nazis and was therefore a symbol of freedom. And the evil left-winger comes up with "Yes, but it has GUNS on it"! I simply couldn't watch anymore.
