Please take a moment to call the C-Span office to let them know you would like to see the Able Danger hearings today. The hearing starts at 2:30 eastern time today. It is not on their schedule and when I called C-Span they said they did not know if or when they would run the hearing. Then I called Congressman Weldon's office and they are baffled that C-Span is not running the hearing. I told Weldon's office I would put this thread up and hopefully enough people will call C-Span to encourage them to run the hearings live.

Is this unbelievable? 248 Congressmen & women want hearings and C-Span is sweeping the hearings under the rug.

The guy I talked to at Weldon's office said they are getting LOTS of phone calls today. I told him that is GREAT!

The phone rang a long time. Then someone answered. I told them what I was requesting. She put me through to an automatic system, where my comments were recorded.

I certainly hope they hear the requests from the public, that we NEED to know about our government's handling or mishandled of this information.

Come on already, they have important things to televise, like a 1996 panel discussion on the Johnson White House. They can't cover everything. Seriously, every time I turn on c-span it's some long ago obscure event with bad camera work and about 12 people in the audience.

I called and spoke to a very nice lady who said she was receiving lots of calls and was trying to track down further information and get the hearings scheduled.

The answer I got it we can't show everything. I said it was on you schedule the other day, I want to see it and others want to see it. She didn't know why it was taken off but it may be shown at a later date, or this evening, to keep checking their website to see when they update their schedule.
