Brit Hume interviewed the vice president today about the hunting accident; the conversation will be on Special Report, Fox News, at the usual air times tonight. The vice president called the day of the hunting accident "one of the worst days of my life." Harry Whittington is doing "extremely well" a day after he suffered a minor heart attack, doctors said. He is sitting up, eating, and doing some work while remaining in the hospital.
Mrs. Bush spoke about women and heart disease during a visit to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Hi Tx. Hope you're enjoying watching the Olympics. I saw a medal count earlier today and the US was doing quite well. I've only seen a few people compete. One was a Russian ice skater, something like Yevgeny Prushenko. His short program was magnificent. I love to see these young, devoted athletes get out there and do so well.

Hi trg - I agree re the colors in Laura's dress. They make her complexion glow. She's so beautiful anyway ... but wearing the right colors really helps bring out her beauty.

I am very much enjoying the fact that "Dubya" is in office. I have a love & respect him & First Lady Laura as BIG AS TEXAS (as the saying goes...They're Texans...I'm not...I'm just sayin' the saying 'cause it fits my sentiments.)

I love HGTV, too, ilovew. I click over there when, as you say, the newsies are butting their heads into the wall and we are invited along to hear their screams and cries as they blame the wall. It's not a pretty sight. But HGTV is often a refuge.
