In the year 2000, two years after Iraq expelled U.N. arms inspectors, two Iraqi scientists paid a discreet visit to Saddam Hussein in his presidential palace.

They had come to brief the Iraqi dictator on their progress in enriching uranium using plasma separation. If successful, their efforts could have given Saddam the fissile material he was seeking to make a bomb...

hmmm ... I even saw an AP report on the tapes today. Maybe this is picking up a little steam in the old media.
I wonder how they will move the goal posts again.

U.S. intelligence stumbled on 12 hours worth of tapes that they asked him to translate, but Tierney believes thousands of hours of Saddam's secret audio archive were seized during the liberation of Iraq and could become available soon.

Saddam is starting to sound like Richard Nixon. I wonder what they'll play at his trial?

A Republican dream-come-true if this all pans out the way it's headed. Of course, the left will be screaming that it's all fabricated.

I also find it difficult to believe that- if Saddam had a nuke program, that he didn't also have a bio/chem program as well.

Maybe this is picking up a little steam in the old media. I wonder how they will move the goal posts again.

They'll move them by saying that he didn't have them yet. Ya see, in their world, a five time child rapist deserves yet another chance, rehab and all that Bullitsh, and they address the issue once the genie's out of the bottle so to speak.

Ironically, then they'll fight for the dirtbag to get another chance. So it would be w/ Saddam. You can see this throughout the Clinton years in one form or another w/ both Bin Laden and Hussein. We talk tough, but for them, unless there's a mushroom cloud over NY, Chicago, or LA, it doesn't mean anything.

And if there were a mushroom cloud over one of our cities, or more of them, then they'd pack up the "let's sing the Coca-Cola song" crowd, run to the top of the tallest mountain, hold hands, make a commercial or hold an event, sing Kumbaya, and then rant on about how come we can't all just get along. Then they'll accept someone like Kim Jong Il's or Hussein's tripe about how they're try harder and comply with UN people who are in bed with them.

It's an endless cycle of idiocy and naivete that would is humorous usually but highly concerning when applied to illegal immigration allowing who knows who into our country or with situations such as the one in Iran.

Meanwhile, these are the people that destroy buildings and property to get their messages out.

Insane yet? LOL ; )

Their goal posts are on the back of a truck.

This new WMD development won't get any airtime since the libnuts are obsessing over the lame-duck VP story instead.

"Mr. Ritter, is it true that UNSCOM has intelligence that Iraq has three nuclear weapons assemblies and only lacks the fissile material?" - Sen. John McCain Sept 3, 1998

"Yes" - Scott Ritter Sept 3, 1998

I agree. We FReeps have to spread the word. The Liberal Media is intentionally ignoring this story. Surprisingly, the Republican Party has been silent along with the likes of Drudge or any other traditionally conservative media outlet. We have to make sure that this story gains traction. Bush was right and is right to have gone into Iraq. Where's that Fat Bastard Michael Moore right now?? We have to stop these Liberal Bastards from disseminating lies and fostering hatred of the President and the Party.

Viva La Bush!!!

Go figure this one out. Saddam predicts an attack and the media goes, "Saddam is a visionary."

After Powell shows the entire world that Saddam was moving his WMD out of the country, Saddams main man on WMD comes out and says, "Saddam moved his WMD to Syria."

Crickets.....

See that is where you are mistaken. If there was a muchroom cloud they would then blame Bush for allowing Saddam to move his WMD out of country rather than not attacking and knowing where the WMD was. Every RAT would than say, "See we told you Saddam had WMD."

And history would once again be revised to suit the RATS.

What's more, as Rush has just pointed out on his program today ... the Bush administration seems ambivalent in the light of these latest revelations. It seems they have no real desire, in spite of being called liars by their 'Rat political opponents, to get behind this with any enthusiasm.

I just fired off an email to the president about this. Maybe nobody told him. I sent some links and told him to do a google search.

Saddams tapes are irrelevant right now. Remember, this is still the 90's and Bush saying something now doesn't do anything.

There are a lot of tapes. Bush is building up a case. The MSM got a piece out last night and the libs are saying, "see? No WMD." However, what seems to have been omitted by the MSM today was those tapes also said that Saddam moved things around to fool the inspectors.

Now I am not a rocket scientist. But I managed to glean this from those tapes.

1. Saddam was good at hiding things from the UN and did it often.
2. The UN inventoried Saddams WMD and some were missing.
3. Colin Powell showed the world that Saddam was moving WMD (the missing stuff?)
4. We found dual use equipment buried(hidden?)

If this is all true, then where did the missing inventory of WMD go? If it never existed then either the UN lied, Saddam lied or every intelligence service in the world along with the RAT party and Clinton lied.
