Brit Hume's interview with VP Dick Cheney attracted more than 2.1 million viewers on Wednesday night, making Special Report the #1 program on cable news.

The 6 p.m. time slot delivered 2,101,000 total viewers, including 513,000 in the 25-54 demographic. Hume beat O'Reilly by a few thousand viewers in P2+...

I wish FOX would air Special Report on the regular FOX network and give ABC, CBS and NBC a real thrashing!

Roger Ailes, are you listening?

Yes and it kills CNN and the Liberal MSM. They are ranting and raving like a bunch of maniacs over this. You can bet they are frothing at the mouth like the bunch of raving idiots they are.

I`d have to Google it, but I seem to remember Brits son "committed suicide" after getting on Hillarys case about something. I`m not making this up, do a search on it and you`ll find I`m right. They found him with a gunshot wound to the head like most other Clinton Arkancides. I`m assuming there is absolutely no proof the Clintons were involved, but like I said it is one of the more bizzare stories of the Clinton national Armageddon of the 1990`s. (There wasn`t a Clinton Presidency... Presidency is the wrong word. The correct words to use are "holocaust" or "armageddon")

Poor Media Matters has their panties in a wad...

"Hume baselessly asserted that Cheney chose Fox for interview because of its high ratings, rather than because it is "associated with conservative causes""

I suspect that CNN knew this would be the case, thus their whining. It's about the money to CNN, pure and simple. And the White House is wise to appeal to their own base through Fox News.

I guess there's a lot of people who prefer a sizzling program over substance, but I think that Brit Hume's show is simply the best on television.

You never have people screaming over each other-the comments are generally well thought out and lucidly presented, and the host seems to have respect for his subjects as well as his audience.

There's not another show like it on cable.

Sheesh, Greta is tedious.

Nancy GRace is a drama queen, and Larry King is on occasion such as with the Flight #93 families, simply great.

No one can beat Brit tho.......NO ONE

I watched about three seconds of MSNBS (Imus) this AM. Chris Matthews has lurched even further over into insanity over this "Cheney Shooting". He has a time line and everything. Soon he will join Algore.

Do you recall who Brit was working for at that time that you are referring to? Was it ABC?

No wonder Cafferty is in a snit. Someone send him some recipes calling for sour grapes--he's got a load of 'em!

Michael Savage yesterday described these people - including, I believe David Gregory - as "screeching weasels." Guess we can include Terry "The Punk" McAwful in that as well.

Yeah, but Clinton's favorite "detective" is in jail. He's sure done a lot of other rotten stuff, and we've all seen the lists of people who've died after crossing one or both of the Clintons. Or had their cats killed, tires slashed, etc.

Well, sometimes during the panel session, Juan Williams screams a little. ;)
