I don't believe I've covered anything Chuck Schumer has said. I don't even listen to him. I'm not 100% sure who he is. Hence my confusion with your comments.

>>>The President intends to nominate David C. Sanborn, of Virginia, to be Administrator of the Maritime Administration of the Department of Transportation. Mr. Sanborn currently serves as Director of Operations for Europe and Latin America at DP World.

Does that have anything to do with the Council Decision in the EU/WTO trade agreement?

I have it linked here:

"And how will this joint venture affect Palestinian access to our ports?"

sheesh, it's the Security of our nation that will be affected for those so bent on making deals with muslims they can't connect the dots.

Some argue it's no big deal that muslims will be running our ports. Some even argue that the old guard longshoreman will still work for the muslims. I don't know about you, but there is no way I would ever work for a muslim. The muslim owner operators will bring in more muslims to help them run the ports who will learn how our port security is managed (mis managed.) Some of these muslim dock workers will come from the ranks of hamas and al queda. This is simply not a real difficult connect the dots matrix. Dubai muslims have bought rail terminals as well with intentions to focus on growing US rail terminals.

What does it take for some folks to connect the dots and realize these are national security threats?

Now it begs the question do those who seem unable to connect the dots...dots so easily assembled, do they have another agenda ...like the destruction of these United States.

This is precisly what is needed.

Palestine has only one resource, unemployed people. There is a capital and industrial base in the GCC/UAE that can be utilized to develop some light industrial base in Gaza/West Bank and perhaps Jordan.

This is in the interest of the GCC because they don't want the population emigrating to their lands. Jobs at home will kep them home. I've been told the primary reason for the extremely strict Saudi Arabian border controls is to keep out the Palistinians. They allow zillions from the Philippines but not the Palis.
The jobs will negate the need for the very expensive and wasted aid. The corruption is a seive that strains out lots of the aid before it gets where it is needed.

This is capitalism at work.

Once again so everyone will know, the GCC is Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Unites Arab Emirates, Iran and i think pretty soon Iraq.

You left out the part about Maersk being the best and most capable firm in the business.

That would be Agenda 21 of the Earth Charter.

BTTT!

6. Employees at borders, airports, and seaports

EXCELLENT post and point...should I ping the Posse?

Because as we know, DP World taking over "operations" a 6 East Coast AMERICAN Seaports is meaningless, but Charlie Daniel's royalties on a 34 year old song is of VITAL interest!

The "Luv'ya Dubya" sycophants are slipping, they didn't find this thread till the second page!

If things keep going like they are, Dubya may just go down in history as our Jimmy Carter.

The peanut farmer, our first president to embark upon bringing democracy to the Mideast under the guise of "human rights." He ended up replacing the Shah with Khomeini.

Well if we don't stand up and fight back in some fashion to show our displeasure to what is going on, we are in trouble.

American citizens can still rally and let our leaders know ENOUGH IS ENOUGH...and I'm talking about those who haven't been politically active in the past. It's time to get a grip. We shouldn't be so much focused on Dems vs. Repubs anymore, but concerned with major issues like this. When Pres. Bush said he was gonna fight the war on terror, I didn't think he would make a move like this and practically invite an Arab company to oversee our ports. That's a HUGE national security flop. Not to mention the fact that he's been chummy with Arabs in Washington...but we still have our freedom, we can still make our voices heard before the crap hits the fan.

Why are our "leaders" so apparently willing to sell the US down the river?

Because only when all commerce is controlled, will those with the "Mark" be able to participate in commerce!

And, no...I'm not kidding, and I'm not a tin-foiler...it is happening as we watch right now!

Welcome to the "Beginings of Sorrows"...

You are right -- I'm just frustrated sometimes. REading about all the UN Land grabs in the United States is literally enough to make me feel like vomiting, and I'm not exaggerating. If you don't know what I'm talking about, google "UN Biosphere REserves" -- but I'm warning you, get out your favorite antacid before you do. I have been reading about this for literally YEARS and people look at me like I've lost my MIND when I talk about it.

At this time, I don't see a connection...if you do, please clarify it for me. Is there a mention of David Sandborn, or any of the CFIUS personnel involved in teh NAIS garbage?

I may be dense, as going thru all this Gub'Mint garbage is straining my eyes, my senses, and my credulity!

Early last year, DP World, then Dubai Ports International, completed the acquisition of CSX World Terminals (CSXWT), the international terminal business of CSX Corporation, for a closing cash consideration of $1.142 billion.

Where was Schumer, Hillary, Savage, Peter King last year.
