"Turkey is a strategic extremely important and the only moderate muslim country that counts. They are even member of NATO."

Turkey has been the example that democracy can work even among those infected by Muslim insanity.

Their yielding to the uncivilized mob mentality that characterizes true Islam is further indication that the only way the world is likely to approach peace ever again is by eliminating this scourge from the face of the earth by whatever means necessary.

For us who lived through WWII, this is a recreation of the hate propaganda of the Third Reich - a comparing which undoubtedly the makers of this evil "film" almost certainly do not find offensive at all.

Any Americans involved in this are active participants in the fomenting of racial slander, racial hatred and incitement to deadly violence. They should immediately have their passports confiscated, with criminal charges to follow.

Their actions constitute a clear and present danger to the men and women serving our nation in the Middle East - and to our country in general through significantly increasing the possibility of it being attacked.

I cannot think of a more explicit instance of contemporary treason, even in these times of what are in effect daily acts of treason by domestic leftists.

Totally off the subject, but that's a seriously gorgeous 109 on your Freeper home page. I'd love to see it in flight.

Yep! They are simply traitors.

It's just a stupid movie, and it'll be gone before long. Nothing to get too worked up about.

If it's playing to sellout crowds in Turkey, which had closer relations to the west than any other muslim country, they'll have an arabic version out very soon. I'd bet serious money on it.

The German minister of Bavaria, Edmund Stoiber, wants to ban the film "valley of the wolves" from German cinemas because it is racist and starts a clash between the cultures:

http://www.spiegel.de/politik/deutschland/0,1518,401805,00.html

Personally I think this is the wrong way to react. It is typical German to solve this problem with making this film illegal. Although the film is dangerous BS the freedom of speech will be much more important. Those who want to see it will get it through video. If it is forbidden it will be just more interesting. Stoiber is a idiot (he is a conservative but he lacks of intelligence).

Attaturk would not be proud of his people today. He worked to bring them out of the dark ages, abolished the turban and the veil

Yeah, he abolished a lot of churches, Greeks and Armenians, nice guy. Now Turkey is almost completely free from Christian problem - 0.3% remaining and shrinking fast.

Attaturk is one of the most ambivalent historical figures we can think of.

Yep! On one hand a great reformer. Without him there would be no hope for the muslim world since he was the one to give proof to the fact that a moderate Muslim country and democracy (I am aware about the deficits of Turkey) can exist. On the other hand he is one of the responsible persons for a genocide that took 1.5 million innocent people. Sad and crazy world.

And so were Lenin and Hitler.

And so were Lenin and Hitler.

Hitler was no reformer at all. Her continued the economic policy of his predecessors and opened a crazy regime. All his growth was based on debts. Lenin was indeed a reformer although he probably knew about the sick and unproductive outcome of his experiments. Both of them aren't comparable to Attaturk who really changed a overcomed system into something better. He could have been one of our greatest politicians if he wouldn't have 1.500.000 corpses in his basement.
