Honestly, I don't have much problem with her. From what the article says when she was told this was inappropriate by her school, she complied with their ruling. My problem is with the other kids who've decided to turn this into a protest. Kids need to learn that rules exist to be obeyed. If you don't like them, work to change them.
Most schools here have uniforms - this one is unusual in not having one. It looks to me like these kids should be grateful for the amount of freedom their school gives them - not take a mile for every inch.
