Yup.
This is classic Chavez. Whenever a scandal hits, Chavez either:
a. Accuses the US of planning an invasion or there is a CIA plot, blah, blah, blah.
b. Tries to infuriate the opposition to goad them.
c. all of the above.
Read about the latest happenings on Chavez on http://www.vcrisis.com
Seems that the even the poor are starting to get tired of the piddly handouts and are starting to see the huge corruption laced happenings, even with the attempted censoring of the media.
And oh yeah, the fact that the "polling company" that the Venezuelan government has been claiming to be using and showing heavy favoritism for Chavez....turns out the polling company hasn't existed for years now.
Look for a fire in the Reichstag, er, Assemblia, any day now.
Maybe he doesn't have to declare dictatorship at all, since he's got the Diebold voting machines.
Since the left is so fond of Chavez GW should announce that in an attempt to reach common ground with Chavez he is lifting term limits on the presidency of the US as well and that it will be GWB/Condi '08.
LOL............
I don't know, Can Condi handle a shotgun? ;-)
What? Is Chubby's SA getting out of hand?
No doubt it has been difficult for Chavez to be patient. . .but with all that great 'solidarity' Noam Chomsky references; this 'common-sense' decision by Chavez should be easy.
Will Hollywood celebrate the leadership plan of Chavez. . .Ed Asner; the 'et als'?
Perhaps an 'inspirational' movie on the way; re Chavez?
No way! I am floored by this news, just floored I tell you. What does ol' Jimma Carter have to say about this?
"I can't wait to hear the excuses on DU from the folks there who have their noses up Chavez's butt; "
I love it when the these dipsh!t self-declared "intellectuals" call him "ooh-go" (not "hew-go" as most people pronounce the name of that baboon). It's a perfect example of how these people are profoundly ignorant and work very hard to find ways to make themselves sound intelligent.
I say we impose "Romanian Term Limits" on Chavez.
One man.
One vote.
One time.

I remember in the early days of his rule, Castro interviewed with some American network, and emphatically stated, that he had no intentions of continuing his rule within two years, and that he was only going to stay around until elections could take place......we're still waiting.
