Like Laura Callahand and Kent Hovind, he claimed to have a degree that he didn't.
This seems to be common, but stupid. Most places will allow people to do the work that they are able to do. Degrees don't necessarily equal qualification. Lying about a degree is a disqualification.
Seems to me as though he could have kept his job, lying resume and all, had the company turned a tidy quarterly profit.

Did he say he wasn't Chinese??

Radio Shack and CompUSA are two stores where the staff make you feel unwelcome and that it is a bother that you came in. I avoid them whenever possible. Oh yeah, the address thing at RS is also pretty annoying.
Really? In Ft Worth? I havn't been paying attention.
I had a similar experience at Radio Shack. I was buying some batteries and paying cash and the cashier asked for my phone number (and no, he wasnt trying to pick me up because I heard all the cashiers asking everyone for a phone number). I said no, I prefer not to give that information out. He said the cash register wouldnt complete the sale without it so I said, Fine, then put in your phone number. He refused and I walked out.
The very last time I was in a Radio Shack was to buy a computer part and the sales person was so condescending, I guess because I was a woman and he assumed I was non-technical, stupid and living in 1950, I walked out and never entered another Radio Shack again. When a sales person addresses me with and what can I do for you little lady? they will not get my business.
I also shop at Yankee Candle and Bath and Body Works and they always ask for a phone number - just for updating their mailing list. I always politely refuse and its never a problem, I dont give out my phone number or address in public not just because I dont want telemarketing calls and junk mail, but more importantly because I just dont know what sort of psycho stalker could be standing in line behind me.

The smart ones don't get caught but neither do most of the dumb ones.
Then there is the grey area. Grey areas such as the person who puts Unix on his resume because he worked at a company that used Sun Workstations. All he ever used was the GUI and can't answer a question about what command to use to search for a file if you know the directory the file is located in.
Ok, so it was from Harvard Community College.
Next time they ask for your phone no./address, tell them:
213-555-1212
PO Box 1
Reno, Nevada

So I guess I wouldn't have much luck with "How you doin sweet cheeks?"
Color me curious. And just what would that phone number and address be?
San Dimas? Isn't that where Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure took place?
Plus, their logo is ugly.
Because of Kurt Waldheim, none of us should worry about lying on our resume.
I believe RS is poised to close something like 700 stores.
