Great story. You should submit an article to Cat Fancy magazine or something!!!!!

I've only just started going to Fark about a month ago and have yet to figure that one out. Could you enlighten me?

"6 lbs. of chicken and pork every day? "
That is a misprint, should say 6# a week.
I say the story today on FOX.

No it is not. I have it on good authority that picture was taken by Looter Guy.

That's cruel. He's over feeding the cat or else it has a health problem - thyroid? The owner is killing the cat. It's the same as obese people - they eventually die when they are sooooooooooooooo obese.

The owner is killing the cat.Agreed....several posters have commented on that. The pictures of the owner suggest that he is blissfully ignorant and clueless about about this, and I can't believe that the cat is having a happy life, being unable to even walk as it is. One day the poor animal will die a painful death from renal failure or perhaps a cardiac anomaly, and the owner will think that he gave the cat a 'good life' by overfeeding it.

33 lbs of cat in China will feed a small village for a week..
To: Stoat
Won't be long before their bathroom scale is no longer able to take the weight.
Fortunately, there are alternatives...

I suggest we hi-jack this thread and turn it into a Rachel Corrie/St. Jemima Memorial Thread...
OK, that might be a little obscure...

I would hate to clean that litter box. He is a cute putty tat.

and it could lay down a pile bigger than most people at times.Ewwwwww. I've seen dogs, even little ones, do that, but not cats!
I'm allergic to cats, but a friend of mine had 3, 2 average size and one big cat. He wasn't exactly fat, just big. She had at least 4 litter boxes and seemed to be constantly cleaning one or the other. And replacing air fresheners in every room. (They didn't help.)
