Hurricane Katrina was just a fulfillment of the prophesies Gore wrote about in his late-1980s book Earth in the Balance.

That's right! There were no hurricanes before "Earth in the Balance." Hey, does that mean that the hurricanes are Al's fault?

Re: I could even hear Rich Little doing the dialogue...

Well... Ah... One thing about age, okie... My jowls are now bigger and looser... so I can do my Nixon impersonation with more authenticity.

In a pig's eye, #2! Your rendition of me could not carry Rick Little's jockstrap! Now that I have made that perfectly clear... And that is a visual that will haunt me for years to come! ...Where was I?

Oh... yes... okie, my fellow American, the nation needs to know I was a victim of a great left wing conspiracy! And considering current events... If I should be condemned to hades to be forever up to my neck in boiling horse dung... I go willingly as I know when the time comes, I will be standing on Bill Clinton's shoulders... And he will be standing on Hillary's!

Don't think that these sound bites of his tirades will not be played a thousand times by the GOP if he gets he nod from the Dems. Also, the speech he made in Saudi Arabia a couple of weeks ago was despicable and, IMO, sealed his political fate for good.

Gore may be a man whose time has come in his party. It was he who warned of climate change and predicted its consequences.

Translation for the science-impaired: "Elect Al Gore! He'll quell the storms on the surface of the sun!"

I do believe the hurricanes are from a normal pattern, not from global warming.
Gore is such a loony.
