And what may be their respective economic programs and the political chances to implement them? Without such info [not provided] there could be no valid opinions to express.

Jack Kemp is Netanyahu's economics mentor. Kemp interview

Peretz is the former leader of the national union movement and Olmert's policy is less certain given that until recently Netanyahu was the finance minister who was is charge of the economic turn around.

Kadima (Olmert's party) is advertising: {At the heart of Kadima’s economic policy is a negative income tax, an idea that has been floated periodically in the media as a panacea for alleviating poverty. Such a tax, generally a graduated transfer payment made to persons who earn below a set amount, can be implemented in a multitude of ways. Sheetrit failed to reveal concrete details regarding Kadima’s version of the idea. He said he hoped that a negative tax would break the cycle of unemployment and poverty. } Kadima economics

As the disengagement proceeds, so ought the elimination of Palestinian work permits in Israel. That alone should make a dent in unemployment, unless the laws of logic were suspended.
