LOS ANGELES (AP) - A paparazzo facing charges involving an incident with actress Reese Witherspoon was found dead this month in a Brentwood apartment, the coroner's office confirmed Thursday.
The body of Todd Kevin Wallace, 44, was positively identified but the cause of death was not determined pending results of toxicology tests, said Brenda Shafer, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County coroner.
The decomposed body was found on Feb. 5.
In December, an arrest warrant was issued for Wallace by Orange County authorities after he failed to show up for a bail hearing on misdemeanor charges that included battery.
Wallace allegedly became angry when Witherspoon and her friends declined to be photographed Sept. 2 at Disney's California Adventure. Anaheim city prosecutors said Wallace became aggressive, striking a 5-year-old girl with his camera and shoving two park employees out of the way.
Witherspoon's group was at the amusement park for a birthday party for her 6-year-old daughter.
Wallace pleaded innocent to the charges, which could have sent him to jail for 3 1/2 years if convicted.
He was free pending trial when Anaheim officials requested the bail hearing after learning that he had been arrested on Dec. 5 for allegedly stealing an item from an electronics store.
In that case, he faced a felony charge of committing petty theft with a prior conviction.
The photographer served more than four years in prison after a 1993 conviction for second-degree burglary and receiving goods by fraud, according to state corrections records.
Don't blame Pellicano, he's still in jail (I think).
I<3 Reese, and I'll let her teach me any lesson she wants *drool*
Killed with one of Reese's Pieces?
Great, this just makes it worse for Reese. I remember that incident- would have scared anybody. However, I can never remeber whether she is the Cheerleader from Bring it on or the girl from Legally Blonde.
so, THAT is what it means ... i thot it had something to do with the word "b_tt" .... oops!
The beginning of the title got my hopes high for a few seconds: wouldn't it be better if the body was identified as paparazzo? One wouldn't even need to charge it
That was bad. It had to be said, but it was bad.
Clearly a bad man. How can I be sure? Three names. Lee Harvey Oswald. Mark David Chapman. James Earle Ray. It's the mark of the devil.
Contestant in "Most Awful Headline of Year" award.
Hitlery Rotten Klintoon
John Wayne Gacy.
Ever notice how many bad guys have either "Wayne" or "Lee" in their names?
Wayne Lee Wayne. Three names, plus they're the two really bad ones. Obviously he's the Anti-Christ. :)
They are charging the body?
