Sen. Clinton Says Rove Obesses About Her
AP ^ | 2/27/6 | MARC HUMBERT

ALBANY, N.Y. — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday that President Bush's chief political strategist Karl Rove "spends a lot of time obsessing about me."

The former first lady and potential presidential contender was reacting during a radio interview to a new book quoting Karl Rove as saying she will be the 2008 Democratic nominee for president,

"He spends more time thinking about my political future than I do," Clinton said, noting that Rove and other White House aides have met regularly with her possible opponents in November's 2006 Senate race.

The junior Senator from New York said she believed Rove, Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman and other Republicans are focusing on her to divert attention from Republican problems as the 2006 congressional elections approach.

"Karl Rove is a brilliant strategist. So, if I were thinking about this," Clinton told WROW-AM radio in Albany, "I'd say why are they spending so much time talking about me?"

"What they're hoping is that all of their missteps, which are now numbering in the hundreds, are going to somehow be overlooked because people, instead of focusing on the '06 election, will jump ahead and think about the next one," Clinton said.

Rove made no immediate comment.

And she's NOT a brilliant strategist. Thanks for helping us focus, Hillobeans...

These quotes cannot be the whole of Hillary!'s interview. They missed about 500 "you know"s and "uhhhhhhh"s. It would be more fun to, you know, read Hillary's interviews, you know, in full.

Somebody sure obsesses.

Herself seems to be greatly engaged in scrutiny of the entire Bush Administration. Herself has been running against Bush since 2000, which would have made sense then and in 2004, but sort of a lost cause today. Still, Herself cannot let go.

Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if Rove spends a lot of time thinking of Hellery's run for the White House. Along with another Kerry run and a Gore run and whoever else may be out there. Even thinking about the GOP runners. That is his job, his career, and apparently his passion. It is what he does. He needs to be looking beyond Bush as to what he wants to do next and that will involve running against half the canidates and trying to help one of the other half.

I hadn't heard that he plans to retire after 2008 so he must keep up now and not start in in 2007 when he signs on with someone besides Bush.

Every time that horrible person opens her mouth, the shrill
makes people cringe like a fingernail scratching on a blackboard. She doesn't realize how she is constantly in a negative state of mind. This will be thrown in her face over and over until the 2008 election.

And another lame retort from the Senator. She at once attempts to be both witty and royally dismissive, failing at both.

See why this woman doesn't worry me in a campaign?

For example, Ken made this comment a few weeks ago. Short, polite, but deadly arrogant. Her response? An attempt to moderate her tone. LOL Whom was thinking of whom Hill? That hasn't worked so well, so WEEKS later she answers with a weak retort?
