I am not so sure civics is required in Highschool anymore.
The public education system here in Houston is doing their best to train good little brainwashed democrats.

What's hilarious is that the article doesn't list them either. Doubt that other than 'freedom of speech' and 'freedom of the press' the reporters would probably list:
'freedom from religion'
'freedom of anti-war protesters to assemble'
'freedom to petition against conservatives'

If people want to learn, they will learn. The problem is that few are intellectually curious anymore. Well, strike that--few have ever been intellectually curious.

22 percent of Americans could name all five Simpson family members, compared with just one in 1,000 people who could name all five First Amendment freedoms.
I could only remember four of the five freedoms contained in the First Amendment, but I could name more than five Simpson family members, so I made it up on the backend.

I could only remember four of the five freedoms contained in the First Amendment I have never actually read the Document, but the only one that I am positive is in there is the "Right To Not Be Offended."

It's actually the right not to be offended by Christianity, but you were close.

What are the first five words of the First Amendment, which define its scope?
To: Question_Assumptions
Don't know. What political dispute caused a party of Springfield's original settlers to break off and found Shelbyville.

Congress shall make no law.
Something so many people seem to forget when discussing the first amendment.
