Sorry, I am a bit of a zealot.
It wasn't until very recently that I became aware of the scale of the devastation from the "plague" called Communism.
I blame the Liberal media and Liberals for the keeping the public from finding out about it. Or, at minimum, conveniently not mentioning it.

Oprah a CONSERVATIVE? NOT Oprah, Dr. Phil and his wife.

I heard a local radio handyman's commercial while driving to work the other day.
Something big's coming to Dallas.
No, it's not Oprah.
It's the Dallas Home & Garden Show...

They forgot to mention the substitution of emoting for thinking. The elevation of narcissistic, self-absorption to a virtue. The phenomenon of the public confessional. The notion that a public display of weakness is a strength, and a display of resolve is denial. The vilification of all things "masculine". That's what bothers me about Oprah. She represents the overfeminization of American society.
Although she appears to be (at least on TV, anyway) a pleasant, well-meaning woman, I don't think she is a good influence in the long run.

""ALOT" is not a word..."
It could be a word. It could be the nickname of Austin Powers' girlfriend Alotta Fagina.
