Actually, with college professors teaching the way they are nowdays...he would make the perfect tenured professor at an elite NorthEast College...doncha think?

"Gabler makes Newswatch unwatchable."
I used to watch regularly- Neal did not use to be this bad. Within the last year or so- he has absolutely flipped. I can no longer watch Newswatch because of him.

Please see #54. Gabler's apparently married with a couple children. Frankly, I really don't care if he's gay or straight. It's his views that I find twisted.
To: Txsleuth
Nope. As a resident of Ithaca, home to Cornell, I can definitively state that Gabler would be considered way too . . . conservative for our local faculty ;-)

Gabler is a Gobbler?
Dumber than a box of Rocks.
His sole claim to fame will be as the NYT News gay editor in " Independence Day " who dies in a wall of alien fire in NYC.

I believe Newswatch is pre-recorded (probably on Fridays).

Mr. Gabler holds advanced degrees in film and American culture...ROFLOL! Hell, we all do! It's called life, Neal, you dork.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Gabler is a blabbermouth who dosen't know what he is saying nor whereof he affirms!
He and Ellen Ratner are two of a kind which is true of most of the other windbags Fox hires to fill in for their during the weekdays real Fox and Friends!
Consequently, I watch none of Fox's presentation of programs on the weekends!

Where's the gag on this tripe?
To: Txsleuth
Maybe as an undergraduate, Neal majored in shirt buttoning and shoe tying. HA!

the MSM has uncritically propagated an overly positive image of the president. Who knew? The left is very successful accusing the right of exactly what they themselves do. I think this may have been one of the old communists' tactics ........ or at least a tactic of Saul Alinsky, Hillary's hero.

Gabler agreed, in these terms: "Reporters have been drinking Kool-Aid so long about this adminstration............ there is nothing new in this tape, this is the same old stuff. He screwed up! How many times can you say he screwed up?""He screwed up! How many times can you say he screwed up?" --- that's two too many.

"Mr. Gabler holds advanced degrees in film and American culture and has been a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Freedom Forum Fellowship. He was born in Chicago and lives with his wife and two daughters in Amagansett, New York." He did one good thing. His, "An Empire of Their Own: How the Jews Invented Hollywood" is a very good book about the history of the movie industry.

Every time I go over to DU some little twit is whining about the "conservative media" and how they are on * side (they say Bush, with a *). I laugh out loud at their stupidity. Makes me think of the old saying "none are so blind as those who will not see".
