The Southern Appalachian Biosphere Reserve, or SAMAB, began in the 1970s when UNESCO recognized the 571,000-acre Great Smoky Mountains National Park as a site worthy to be included in its growing global network of Biosphere Reserves. Neither Congress, nor the legislatures of either affected state, reviewed, debated or approved the designation.

Neither Congress, nor the legislatures of either affected state, reviewed, debated or approved the designation. They hadn't the time.
These elected imbeciles are too busy legislating to see any significance in an insidious plot by the UN to claim America's land.

Um , who will take a "UN land grab" seriously? They have no way to enforce any claim. So maybe the best thing to do is just laugh at hem

A very slick trick to get a state to buy it's own land back at a cost to the tax payer.

Nailed it. This belongs to the UN only on paper. The UN's claim to this land is worthless.

Don't ever underestimate evil...
Look what one American is fighting because he has honor and integrity to stand up for liberty...
Michael New - Mercenary... or American Soldier
When is obedience to an order treason? Can an American soldier be forced to serve a foreign power? That's what we're going to find out! American sovereignty hangs in the balance |
|
What happened?
On October 10, 1995, the 1/15 Battalion of the 3rd infantry Division of the U.S. Army came to attention at 0900 in Schweinfurt, Germany. All but one of the 550 soldiers were wearing a sky-blue baseball-style cap with a United Nations insignia on the front. One was wearing the olive-drab flat cap that is authorized to be worn with the Battle Dress Uniform. With this simple act of disobeying a direct order, Spc. 4 Michael New set the stage for a legal battle that has profound implications for the future of American soldiers into service of the United Nations without the constitutional permission of Congress.
Update
Dear Supporters:
Here's your update on our latest venture into the Federal Zone, the District of Columbia. In keeping with our three-fold strategy to
Litigate, Legislate, & Educate, we made progress on all fronts.
Litigation - Dr. Herbert W. Titus presented oral arguments in the US Court of Appeals on Thursday, 16 February. The courtroom was almost full of supporters, a most unusual thing in that court. More than one person asked, "WHO ARE all these people?" A HUGE thank you to those who came, and those who tried to come!
Dr. Titus was his normal brilliant self, bringing the court's attention to our contention that this is not at all about a political question (as the government contends), but whether a soldier must obey all orders, including those that are unlawful? He asked the court, "Why do you suppose they put the word, 'lawful', in front of the word, 'orders', if it makes no difference? (That particular point, powerful in its simplicity, was repeated by one of the justices to the government attorney, who could not answer it.)

Are you guys in the US still keeping an eye on those UN troops infiltrating your country? There was a whole rash of websites during the mid-90s and late 90s tracking and monitoring their movements. Amazingly funnly what people and groups believed what was going on. They even had British Gurkha troops on exercise in the US down as Chinese UN troops!

The UN's land agenda is being implemented under the President's Council on Sustainable Development.
In 1994 the senate rejected the UN's biodiversity treaty. So Clinton ordered that the UN's Agenda 21 land grab be implemented under the PCSD, and the left wing bureaucrats were happy to oblige.
Look up the EPA and smart growth. That's another part of the UN's land grabbing agenda.
Check out all the problems people are seeing with the government regulating private property. The bureaucrats, the smart growth Marxists and the eco-fascists are going full speed ahead in their agenda to destroy private property.
Can the UN own American land? No. But the fascists and Marxists in this country are sure as hell implementing the UN Marxist agenda.

Point of interest: Reagan got the US out of UNESCO, Bush put the US back in. Bush is more Nixonian than Reaganesque.
