Liberal Talk network Air America Radio's CEO Danny Goldberg issued a memo to his staff denying published reports that the company had lost its N.Y.C. flagship, WLIB/New York, and was facing financial challenges, reports Radio & Records.
In the memo, Goldberg stated, "In almost all cases, the people who say bad things about our company's business are conservative ideologues who have a particular interest in damaging Air America for one reason and one reason only: the political opinions expressed by our on-air talent."
Of AAR's financial status, Goldberg said, "Our board continues to be very supportive of our company, and we continue to operate on a firm footing in all respects." Referring to the loss of WLIB, he said the network will not discuss negotiations with third-party companies and added, "We have no plans of leaving the New York City airwaves and plan to be on in New York for many years to come."
Ooooh! Blame Me! Blame Me!
I NEVER listen.
Liberals wouldn't lie would they?
Wonder if being a moonbat is painful.. One could hope..
Even if true (and it probably isn't), turnabout is fair play. Remember "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot," by none other than Al Franken?
They must have found a new charity to loot.
If I didn't know better, I would say someone's p***y is hurting today.
"A non-denial denial," to borrow a term from "All The President's Men."
"We have no plans of leaving the New York City airwaves and plan to be on in New York for many years to come."
And if your run into money problems, there's plenty of Boys and Girls' Clubs around...
it is so much to watch this people crash & burn.
I hope they go down flailing for dear life , it will be so much more entertaining !
Oh, how very liberal of them -- as we know, liberals are never RESPONSIBLE for anything -- it is always someone else's fault....
What a pathetic attempt...

Danny Goldberg (black) discusses financial restructuring with the WLIB executive board.
a boo boo... someone send a pack of butt wipes
Sounds to me like a vote of confidence a baseball teams owner gives the manager a week before the manager gets fired.
They will be pleading for PBS bucks soon.
I seem to remember that Err America has some sugar daddies such as George " I own the Dems" Soros, who is keepin the network afloat.
Sorry, Goldie. You don't need us conservatives for that. You do just fine all by yourselves.
Uh...people actually LISTEN to Air America??? LOL...
That's what made this whole idea dumb in the first place. Liberals already had a publicly financed outlet in NPR.
"On-air talent?" I've read on a few lib boards that many of the moonbats don't even like Err America, calling the so-called talent boring and repetitive.
Agenda doesn't change the truth, and the truth is that almost nobody listens to AA because it sucks.
Yeah. They WILL be pleading for federal dollars. But why give tax dollars to AA when the government already supports NPR?
NPR is at least as liberal.
Maybe when the infections, parasites, and communicable diseases take advantage of the lack of hygiene found in most all of moonbatism
"our on-air talent."
Since when has Stuart Smalley been considered "talent."
It must be really tough being a Liberal. Seeing that it is common knowledge that they pathological liars, how do they ever know who to trust and when. Their lives must be one endless series of betrayals and disappointments.
They must have found a new charity to loot.
"We have no plans of leaving the New York City airwaves and plan to be on in New York for many years to come."
I remember when I was about 12, I had a little one tube transmitter that would broadcast on the AM radio band.
I was on the airwaves, all the way to my next door neighbor. :)
They have a skimpy 1.4 Arbitron rating in the New York Metro area (Democrat Heaven) on a medium-power station (WLIB) formerly known for Caribbean music and Black Power radicalism. If Liberals can't make it in NYC.....
Wonder if the founders of this station has ever paid back the monies they took from the little kiddies? Remember that?????
You put that away and let the poor liberals die in peace!
They're toast.

Al Franken would sell our country out the the U.N socialists and relegate us to international socialist law in a heartbeat. Then, when they took over and marched him up to the gallows in the first tier of executions of those who cannot be trusted because they would betray even their own country, he would look sad and say, "I never knew. I had no idea!"
"Liberal Talk network Air America Radio's CEO Danny Goldberg. . . ."
Baghdad Bob, is that you? Know what? There really WEREN'T any tanks entering Baghdad that day.
Time will tell who is telling the truth.....and I can't wait
Tax-deductible political contributions are a great racket.
There are a few fringe wavelengths available cheap at the outer limits of the dial in that market. You watch. In the coming months, Abscess America will find a home in that desert.
"Since when has Stuart Smalley been considered "talent."
Talent is a term of convenience. It's the same thing they call people who can't sing OR rap.
What is this, Kindergarten? Say bad things, does he mean criticize, denigrate, denounce, invalidate, question, carp about...? Geez...infantile.
I think Global Warming interferes with Err America's Show. To much heat causes the broadcast signal to bounce off the mother ship and scramble instead of redirection back to Earth over the Blue States leaving many Blue State Liberals unable to pick up their daily talking points using their tin foil hat communicators.
Franken has sand in his vagina. Again.
They think NPR is mainstream.
I love this picture. It would also be funny if Franken was holding a sign that substituted the word "whine" for the word "work." Of course, Whining is a profession to a liberal.
Kinda like the cockroaches, heh?
They really don't have much choice.
It's hard to be funny when you have to be politcally correct all the time.
I stopped reading after the phrase "on-air talent".
Yikes.
