It's a step up from CNN. At least there is no X over his face.

Gee, not too obvious are they? Of course if VP Cheney were to step down and say, Condi Rice take his place, they'd all have a sh*t hemorrhage!

Where's the pic of Hillary! with the word "lesbian" behind her in big, purple all caps lettering? She looks rather more pleased to be there than she usually does.
To: Republican Red
Bias? Come on. The guy has never been seen smiling in public. You wanted them to wait till he did? :-)

"Bias? Come on. The guy has never been seen smiling in public."
Look at the lettering cropped out behind him.
To: finnman69
It is just pure happenstance that the word "Retire" fits exactly into the space above his head. Each letter goes exactly to the edge of the picture and no further.....pure chance.....coincidence.....

They are like kids who don't get their way. CNN shouldn't worry. Dick Cheney WILL retire one day and will live better than CNN could ever even begin to hope for. Go Dick. Your the man.

I didn't post the picture. However, maybe you didn't notice that the bias was not in the facial expression but rather the words "RETIRE" in the background.

He is at a retirement seminar. He is the one standing in front of the words.
It could be worse, he could have been at an NRA meeting.
To: finnman69
Yeah, it's an ugly picture. However, it's not "bias" per se ... newsies have been doing this to politicians of all stripes, forever.
I remember my dad (an old newspaper guy) chuckling about it some 30 years ago, and he said then that news folks love to tweak pols that way.

Reuters photographers are trained to find any word or part of a word that is in the backdrop and then they crawl like an insect to get the perfect angle for their attack.
And it doesn't take much time to train them in this style of attack, as the insect aspect come very natural to them.
Maybe someday they will be able to train actual insects with tiny cameras to get the required shot. Then Reuters could save a lot of money.

Right?
