"I lo-o-o-ve McCain. I hope he's The ONE"!!!
You know that's the 2nd time in 2 weeks I've seen the "The ONE", comment. Cal Thomas used the same phrase in a recent article -- Is McCain THE ONE?
See the question is this -- I don't know the Bible as well as I should, but isn't that a question that is asked about Jesus? "Is He THE ONE?" It just seems to me that I heard that somewhere.
Cal Thomas might be the guy to answer that question -- It hink he's a Bible guy. But I'll bet McCain couldn't answer, and I find it curious that the phrase keeps coming up.

It takes a liberal to know a liberal I guess BUMP.

I wonder if John McCain will ever be on the sunday morning talking head shows? Tim Russert should think about booking him for his show.

Is McCain THE ONE?
The ONE what? The ONE who makes me change channel> The ONE who makes me lose my lunch?

Matthews was gushing over McLame's 'generosity' in suggesting straw poll voters cast their votes for our President to show support. Generosity? BS it's a tactical ploy. He clearly smells defeat by George Allen and this prank brought him the air time he sought.

I have some liberal friends that are almost in the moonbat "I hate Bush/Cheney" crowd, who voted for Kerry, and who also seem to love John McCain. I'm not sure what drives that feeling but I suspect that they maybe have some conservative leanings, but have been so poisoned against Bush by the bashers that they are attracted to a relative conservative who is perceived as the anti-bush as painted by the mainstream press.

"I imagine that there will be an effort over the next year to pick off viable candidates until only McCain is left. I don't know that this will work, but they sure are going to try."
You are quite right. The media will push hard for McFreek, as they know that many Republicans will sit it out, rather then vote for him.
That might change if, God forbid, Hitlary is the Dim candidate, but both McCain and HRC make me happy that I am in Slovakia.

McCain should run on a democratic ticket, seems they all love him so much. McCain is a fence straddler, he probably would garner more votes via the Dem's. than the GOP.
If McCain gets the GOP nod I will stay home or maybe go Indp.
With all the disarray in the GOP I fear a third party set up would have a strong effect on the 08 election. People are put off presently by both party's. By so much infighting between the GOP and the Dems. they are not getting the work done the American people elected them for.
I can't understand why George Allen's name isn't more respected in the GOP circles at this time. I'll admit his voting record isn't perfect, but show me someone who is.
McCain has a short temper and, America doesn't need this at this time in our history. The war on terror is going to be a long hard struggle and, cooler heads will prevail.

If McCain gets the nomination another Clinton will be elected via third party ala Ross Perot.

I'm not being critical of you, I can't stand her myself, but in the land of liberal pundits she might rate a 2 or 3 out 10. Katie Couric, David Gregory and Chris Matthews are 10's.

It's Saturday morning. No Katie, Dave or Chris. Slim pickings, but good entertainment value!

"Of course, for a committed liberal like Ratner, even love has its limits: "I am not saying I would vote for him." She's more full of shite' than a Christmas Turkey BUMP!

Thanks for your work. Another shining example of why the MSM is irrelevant. Ratner is so wrong on so many things her face on the Fox product translates into negative ratings.
Thanks for your work. Thanks for your work. Thanks for your work.

Interesting link about Ratner....but, also about Robert Novak...
I have never been a Novak fan...and his seeming anti-Semitism...now it is even more a reason to dislike him.

I agree with you...the only reason a lib would LOVE McCain at this point...is because he is a troublmaker for the Republican Party..
PLUS, he has been known to be an outspoken critic of President Bush, when the mood hits him...

I am thinking a lot of libs want McCain to run, because they figure if President Bush (who is a moron in their eyes) can beat him....
Then Hillary should be able to run rings around him...plus we know that Soros, and the gang are filling file after file of any and all "dirt" on all of the candidates.
