Curtis Sliwa watched the man he claims ordered a hit on him walk away from court for the second time yesterday - and said it hurt more than the ambush that almost killed him. "I would say this has been even more painful than being shot with three hollow point bullets," he told the Daily News. "It's like taking yet another slug.
"I feel I have been robbed. It's like John [Junior] Gotti has been exonerated for all his sins, all his vicious crimes, simply because he announced his retirement.
"I see him pictured in the Daily News, in church receiving Holy Communion. On this guy's orders, I was almost killed, and here he is, playing with his kids in his $2 million palace. It drives me crazy.

Kuby married her a couple months ago.
Lynn was recently diagnosed with cancer, can't remember what kind, the liberal judge will take pity on her and she'll get a light sentence, just my opinion. She's from the same group of scurfy liberal activist's that have not grown up since the 60's. NY is full of them, Kuby included.
Reality check, Kuby is everything bad you all are saying, and Sliwa has been co-hosting a show with Kuby for years. It's all about $$$$.
so long as the ratings on the show remain high - there is no way to get rid of Kuby.
this is one beef I have with Sliwa - a real man would quit that show right now, just not show up on monday and walk away - tell WABC to make a choice about who they want on the air.

Kuby is a student of the late William Kuntzler, the media mongering lefty lawyer who defended every possible miscreant in an attempt to gain some notoriety as the premier defense lawyer in the country if/when he got one off.
Kuby is also an admitted small 'c' communist, whatever that means. I listen to them every morning and after railing against the rich Republicans and balking about the injustice of wealth distribution in this country he plugs his law firm and thanks the cops for arresting people so he can represent them and make money. As a 'communist', I wonder how willing he would be to represent his comrades for free for the sake of the cause.
He is just what Kuntzler was, a media whore who plays at being a populist while lining his pockets with blood stained cash.

I think this "controversy" is being staged to promote their radio show.
the shooting was real. the trial was real. the hung jury was real. Kuby's testiomony was real.
the hype may be staged, but these events actually occurred.
There's no doubt that the events were real, but I do think that both Curtis and Kuby are deliberately blowing this out of proportion to attract listeners.

well yes, but all I am saying is that if this issue isn't important enough to Curtis to actually view it as more then just a promotional event - what does that say about him?

Best part, Kunstler's wife had to sue Kuby because he absconded with the office funds when the rat died.

I've been listening to C & K since they went on the air together. Kuby is a commie, a pinko, a Castro lover, etc. He is also a brilliant attorney and more intellectually honest than just about any talk radio host from the right, with the exception of the Great One, Mark Levin. While Curtis claims that Kuby stabbed him in the back, the fact is that Kuby was subpoeaned to testify and as an officer of the court, he really had no choice.

Lawyers admire the few people who are bigger crooks than themselves.
