If so; the republican stepped in something.. and-.. well you know..
If Jeb Bush runs, all bets are off.
Giuliani is not electable within the GOP, he is a product of the leftist media and RINOs trying to hijack the primary.
Therein lies the problem...Rudy is not electable in the GOP but he would be the most electable among the general population...and one of the candidates in this straw poll may be electable within the GOP but they won't be among the general population.
WHY??? Is that right arm SWISHING???
No, not even among the general electorate either. He is just a foil for the left and will not get core GOP votes. Issues matter and Mr. Giuliani is on the wrong side of too many (sodomy is not a family value).
Jeb Bush would wipe the floor with anyone the Democrats hoist up and with any primary opponents.
There is plenty of time and this left wing media driven rush to push the Republican party is an attempt to hide what they are really afraid of... a united GOP behind Jeb Bush.
GWB and his family is a lot more popular than a lot of people want to admit.
I like this tagline: Fake polls do not translate into real votes.
Didn't Allen campaign against hate crimes legislation for gays, then turn on a dime and endorse it because he couldn't take the pressue?
What IDIOTS would vote for that hideous lefty Chick Hagel?
If Jeb runs.. Hillary is a shoe in..
Lamest pack of offerings sicne Dole won the nomination. The very thought the Frist could WIN a GOP straw poll..even one as unimportant as this is just depressing. If this is the best the GOP can do in 08 then we deserve to lose.
For you, I would not doubt that...
The reality is Giuliani is actually put out there to help Hillary like in her first senate race. He should have run against her for the current senate election if he was serious about defeating her. He is not, he is a liberal.
I would put Bush family values up against Clinton family values any day. Let the chips fall where they may.
Jeb is a designated hitter and you obviously don't like it. Too bad.
I would love to watch the squirming liberal maggot Tim Russert eating a big moose-turd pie, with his little board on election night as we see another Bush president-elect.
You mean the me that voted for Dubya his daddy and brother multiple times or the me thats just about RINO'ed out?...
Which me do you mean grasshopper?..
I don't see the resemblence to Chaplin,
but as John Travolta continues to rack up the years,
I'm beginning to wonder if HE is related to McCain.
Pence is not with the Republican Party ..maybe he should move on over to the Democrats side.
Suzy...he only had three straws ....he must of voted for himself..three times.
The republican party is in trouble if it can't find someone who can excite the voters at a time when so many are disgusted with the party.
Sending Bill Frist up as the Republican Presidential candidate after Bush is tantamount to sending Al Gore in after Bill Clinton. Why is it that the party in power always send in the weakest man to challenge the out of power party after a popular leader (i.e. George Bush after Ronald Reagan, algore after Clinton, etc.)? It's like they intentionally set their party up for failure. Frist is weak, ineffectual, and a RINO.
