Very good comments about the 2000 election and the results. Bill Sammon wrote an excellent book, "At Any Cost", that detailed Gore's attempts to overthrow the election results. Gore really is a "win-at-any-cost" guy. NO morals. He learned well from the Clintons.
Thank you.
What is it that the only type of journalists that understand what is going on are those that cover mostly economics...
By the way, this is one of the best articles I have read all month. Gerard Jackson needs to be given a raise in salary for understanding how fanatical the democrat party has become.
<< Although it is true that Martin Luther did not, unlike the lovely Mr Alec Baldwin, did not favour putting to death those who disagreed with him.
Not actually true. >>
Actually true. Baldwin, on the Conan O'Brien Show, at the time, hysterically, maniacly even, proposed, by name, the deaths of all of those Republicans leading the House impeachement of Clinton "and all of their wives and all of their children."
I saw it and you may too with a few key strokes.
I was referencing Mr. Luther, not Mr. Baldwin.
Luther was a man of his time with regard to his language and the fate he proposed for his opponents.
The concepts of freedom of speech and religion hadn't been invented yet.
<< Gore really is a "win-at-any-cost" guy. NO morals. He learned well from the Clintons. >>
He learned well from his effective Soviet agent father and from their virulent Soviet agent master, Armand Hammer.
Gore's is [At least] second generation abject amorality and he brought it to the Cli'ton Crime Family, not from it.
<< Gerard Jackson is Brookes economics editor
What is it that the only type of journalists that understand what is going on are those that cover mostly economics ... >>
It's better even, that that. Gerard Jackson, a von Mises Disciple, is Australia's only Austrian School Economist.
And what a Gem among dross, he is.
Find him at home at: http://www.brookesnews.com
Thank you.
<< Bush is not a "victim" (That good old liberal victim mentality thing) of the political civil war, he has been made the focus of it by immature leftists whose only response to losing power is to throw a non-stop tantrum, threaten to take their ball and go home where they will hold their breath until they turn blue. >>
Guess it all depends, then, upon what is the meaning of "is?"
Good read
You got it.
Gore Sr. = the Senator from Occidental (Oil Co., a front for Soviet agent Hammer.)
Yep... everyone rah rahs for their political party like it's a sport team(done it for a few years until i figured it out one day)....dems get a few crumbs from the table...pubs get a few crumbs from the table...i've followed this stuff for a LONG time...oh if only the pubs got in charge we'd straighten this mess out heh heh heh...i think most are waking up to the fact that the fix is in and has been for a long time....i'm an america first type of guy on most issues and i had to come to a conclusion one day that this is all smoke and mirrors for the most part....i'm too much of a realist and it's a bad fault i have....i do myself no good....i think my attitude anymore is not for political posturing and arguing...politicians are well...politicians...i think my views are not very nuanced so they can't apply to political life in america these days.
I guess i started coming around with the border issue, free trade/globalism and talking to my stepson about Iraq after he served two tours in the Marines...Ramadi and Fallujah.
History does repeat itself and seeing how the average American's grasp of history is poor...well we are doomed to repeat it....which isn't anything new either.....darn i have a bad attitude....i think there are a few left on FR that feels my pain ;)
