"I can say to an absolute certainty," Kerry told radio host Don Imus, "that if things stay exactly as they are today absent some unpredictable change in what's going on, within the next 30 years the Arctic ice sheet is gone. LOL! And millions of Americans voted for this dipstick!
Please John, run again!

This post is very timely - I was just getting ready to book some airplane tickets and a hotel room for a trip to NYC in 2036 but that was before I read the Senator's remarks. Now that I have read them I guess I better hold off. Thanks, Senator! I could have wasted some serious cash! Speaking of wasting cash, what would rising sea levels do to New Orleans? Why waste money rebuilding it if it's going to be gone in 2036 anyway?

Those aren't his! They belong to his family.

Better buy up some Westchester property -- could be waterfront by then...

Apparently, Kerry hasn't heard what happened to the rest of the United States after we "lost" New Orleans for a while...

No, that was Ted Danson's prediction that the oceans will be gone. By the way. Boston was built on reclaimed marsh land so nature would just be taking it back.
