I'm more interested in why certain people become involved in politics and others do not. Why are some people, liberal or conservative leaning, so passionately drawn to politics while I'd say 40% of the population couldn't care less? I can relate to people on either side of the spectrum because in terms of personality all politically active people have common traits. They care about things larger than their everyday concerns, they care what other people think and they feed off the competition of ideas. Personally I'm delighted to meet a person of any political stripe just so long as they're up for talking about current issues. For the life of me I don't get politically apathetic people. I mean yeah I get people who made an effort to care at one point and then became disgusted but that's not most of em. Most of em just couldn't care and never did, more often they're women but not always. I'd like to see somebody study that, maybe figure out why half the country doesn't vote.

That was a terrific post. I myself love meeting political people, even if they are leftist, in fact, I've had a successful relationship with a woman who was quite liberal (though I did manage to change her mind on a few things).

I often think that "intelligent" liberals are book smart, but not very wise. Which is why many probably believe communism is a good idea. After all, it does sound good on paper. It might work...if we were all robots.

The more intelligent kids might be put off by daycare!

That's exactly what I was thinking. Maybe the conservative babies had a better sense of the injustice of being dropped off in daycare instead of being raised by their parents.

The liberal babies had no problem with being taken care of by the state, even at that early age.

Yep, that great actress of high moral terpertude and class Susan Sarandan will play the beautiful, highly intelligent, patriotic Cindy Sheeham.

I understand that Fidel Castro has asked to play her father.

Hugo Chavez will play her estranged husband.

Carlos The Jackal will play her confident and playmate from the Vietnam war era.

Jimmy the Goober Carter will play her adviser Mortimer Clueless.

Medea Benjamin of Code Pinko will play the clueless anti-American,anti-patriot slut, Medea Benjamin.

Jessie Jackson will play the Democrat plantation houseboy "Step-An- Fetch-It".

An all star cast of hundreds playing the Democrat anti-American Muck Divers who clean the stinky crapes located at Camp Casey.

Lead Muck Divers Hellary Clinton, Howeird Deaniac, Murdering Ted Kennedy, Russet Feingold, Nancy Pepolosie, Babs Boxero, Charlie Wrangle, Little Dick Turdban, Smuckie Schummer and every liberals poster boy AlGore.

Jeez, you got that right. My cousin doesn't have the sense that God gave a gopher.

The confident kids turned out liberal and were still hanging loose, turning into bright, non-conforming adults with wide interests. The girls were still outgoing, but the young men tended to turn a little introspective.

introspective = wussies

So why is it that the Democrats are the whiny ones?

It'd be interesting to see exactly how the traits were scored. A three year old who is "confident" that they understand their environment could probably just as easily be classified as "arrogant" and "self-obsessed". At three, they should be learning how things work, and probably be a bit uncertain.

>>>Rosy will read the liberal book, and they can yell "Booyah!" together. (Apparently that's a popular exclamation in leftist oppressor circles.)>>>

I'll work on that word with her. BTW, Rosey (Rose) is my oldest's name.
