300 win mag., 200 grain.

No, they should use a beeber and stun them. I'm series. A moose once bit my sister...

Sorry.

Cool, Frank. Where you been? I used to live in on the Jar trik, just below Hommenkollen. I can understand, the mountain is right there. Sure wish I could make it back there one of these days ...

Clicked to view the video. How odd, I have all that is required but it still asked me to download them. I didn't.

Wow, what a surprise this morning! Arne is a good friend of mine! His wife is my "AFS daughter" - she lived with us here in the US as an exchange student during her senior year in high school. So I guess that makes Hannah my AFS granddaughter.

He woke up daughter Hannah, 4-1/2, packed her into a duvet and took her out to see the animals. She had never seen a moose before and called the experience exciting - but a bit scary.

For those of you in Rio Linda, these are kids packed in duvets...

...and these are mooses.

The whole thing was caught on tape by one of the ranch hands. It's hilarious!
Sounds funny. :-)

At last. What a pleasant surprise!

And how better to start than with an authentic moose story!

As I write this I'm enjoying the flag in the box below; for a change not set to fire by Muslims or wacko Sinhalese monks.

Welkommen, or however you say it.

Glad you back. Missed you. Right now, I'm on the Big Island of Hawaii helping a friend. We have cleared the 3 acres, as necessary, and are readying to pour the garage.

His home is near Hilo, the windward and rainy side of the island. We got much wata da las' mont', brudda. Wonderful people on this side.

The haole's (outsiders) are taking over the Kona side. Starting to look like Orange County, CA. Biiiiig bucks takin' ova, mon.

Thanks for the ping. Bmbye (later).

Right now, I'm on the Big Island of Hawaii helping a friend.

You lucky guy, you. We got buried with 26" of snow in the Sandhills of Nebraska over the weekend, and while temperatures are now reaching up to the 60s, there's just s-o-o-o-o-o much snow we'll be lucky if it's gone by the 4th of July. It never got cold--just hovered around 30-34 degrees, but man, there was just s-o-o-o-o-o much snow, with drifts 15-30 feet high where the winds had blown the snow.....usually right smack onto the roads and highways.

uh....watch out for the yellow snow. I understand it don't taste good.

Guess there's no big rush on snow cones anyhow.

Anyway, we had 24" of rain in 2 days. What if it fills up the ocean? And there's the cokie frogs that came in from Puerto Rico in plants!!! They're everywhere!! And every night it's "COKIE...COKIE...COKIE". Some people are going berserk from the noise. And it's a humid 80 degrees. OH, the humanity!!!

Just pickin' on ya. Glad to hear from you again.
