(Allegan, March 25, 2006, 6:00 p.m.) By Brad Edwards There's an egregious report of child sexual abuse out of Allegan County. Three adults are charged with a number of felonies in regards to the claims. Authorities say the claims involve everything from actual sexual assault to the use of a computer to commit a crime.

24 Hour News 8 has decided to withhold several specifics about those who stand accused, because identifying them would identify some of the alleged victims.

Authorities tell us two of the accused are a father/son duo who lived at the property in question. They lived there with a number of other families. Investigators say they retrieved thousands of pictures from the home, and many involved kids who lived there. More than a half dozen kids, all of them are younger then 10-years-old.

A couple with talked to this afternoon said they lived at the compound and they tell 24 Hour News 8 the State took there three kids as the investigation continues.

One of the men charged - the 56-year-old father - also has a previous sex offense conviction.

Authorities say the men all face life in prison if convicted and they'll be in court again next week.

How sensitive of them. I used to watch news 8 for more years that I can believe, but have NOT watched them for more years than I can count.

..the use of a computer to commit a crime.

Why is using a computer a separate crime? Makes as much sense as 'using a telephone' or 'using a pencil and paper'.
