This really pisses me off.. The man robs his country blind and massacres thousands, and the world bends over backwards to let him keep his ill-gotten gains and gets immunity from prosecution. If anyone ever deserved the Musselini treatment (besides Musselini), it would be Mugabe.

Mugabe can enter the U.S. via the Mexican U.S. border with the other illegals and get his drivers license.

I understand your point, but will you be equally pissed when the new guy does the same thing?..with the blessing of Cafe Annan?

Mugabe is an African leader. He therefore gets a pass on HIS genocide and robbery. We treat them with kid gloves....not like we treat Arabs and Europeans. THEY have to take the conequences for THEIR actions (Milosevic, Hussein, etc.) but NOT African leaders.

Doesn't it piss everybody off? He destroys the country and is then allowed to walk away.

If it weren't already too late and the damage absolutely unimaginable, a fitting end would be to restore Cecil Rhodes name to the country and install a democratically elected government. But it is, in fact, too late. I cannot imagine how this can ever be made right in the next two centuries. The people who were able to make the country work by employing and feeding the people have had their property stolen and their means of income along with it. It's absolutely disgusting.

I know somebody who has decided to stick it out by living in Zimbabwe and she is white.

I would rather see Mugabe leave and have a chance for reform and healing rather than more bloodshed. His goons need to be taken from power as well.

If one were to look at what is wrong with Iraq today, it is people looking to settle scores - Sunnis killing Shiites, Arab foreigners killing other Iraqis. The killing in Iraq is truly a stupid mentality.

If he doesn't leave, people will starve to death.

This evil person used food as a weapon to starve people to death.

I understand where you are coming from, but there is a story I heard that came through the Vatican (it is unclear if this actually happened).

Supposedly, someone appeared to a mystic (the person appearing was someone from heaven.

The person appearing from heaven said that Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Benito Mussolini were given the chance for heaven. According to the person from heaven, Mussolini accepted the offer and both Hitler and Stalin rejected it.

These three people were also shown what they would have to suffer first before being allowed into heaven.

The point of the story is God's infinite mercy (which I can learn from). But the other interesting point was that on the death of Mussolini, his body was descrated in very horrible ways by the people who murdered him - perhaps part of his punishment.

And though many may not believe there is not a heaven, it would put great fear in anybody who has seen hell. In 1917, there is a story that three children were first given the promise of heaven and then shown hell.

Even though they knew that they would not go to hell, it was such a terrible sight that they did not want to happen to anybody.

I know that my friend in Zimbabwe would want the same - to try to save as many souls as possible.

The torment after death may be greater than you can imagine... At least that is my personal belief.

For that reason, I never seek justice on this earth, but hope in God and trust in God...

But that is my own personal opinion...

I hope you are not offende by my comments. But having heard and read stories of what is going on in Zimbabwe, I just want it to end without any scores being settled...

Of course Mugabe's fellow communist Mbeki will save and protect him!

Outrage as Mbeki hints at S African land grab - Mr Mbeki said he could learn from Mr Mugabe's methods and philosophy. "Our countries have shared common problems," Mr Mbeki said. "As they shared the common problems of oppression, they share common problems today. "President Mugabe can assist us to confront the problems we have in South Africa so that we can assist you to solve the problems that face Zimbabwe."

Mbeki warns white farmers to commit to land reform - Thabo Mbeki said yesterday the seizure of land would not be necessary if white commercial farmers remained committed to land reform and redistribution.

Africa Should Feel Uneasy Over Iraqi War: Mbeki - "The prospect facing the people of Iraq should serve as sufficient warning that in future we too might have others descend on us, guns in hand to force-feed us ...If the UN does not matter... why should we, the little countries of Africa that make up the African Union (AU), think that we matter and will not be punished if we get out of line?"
