Imagine how much money we'd save the taxpayers if we could permanently return them to the nations where they are legal citizens!

Back when I was in school, we didn't need reasons to skip. We just did it cause we felt like it.

Lock the school doors and don't let them back in without a birth certificate or a green card.

Interesting how it's students that are protesting immigration reform. The part of the population that doesn't have to pay for all of the "rights to a better life" that are being reported in media. I'd be willing to bet that once they become tax-paying adults they'll be singing a different tune.

Of course, high school students know everything. This was no set up, either.

It's so easy to get high school kids to protest anything. Just tell them they'll get out of class for the day.

The students said the decision to walk out of school was made Monday morning. So, 2000 kids just up and decided to skip school in protest. I wonder what influence the teachers had on their 'spontanious' decision?
They should all be arrested for truency, and suspended for a week.

Better for Texas to prosecute those who are here illegal than those who drink more than two beers at a bar and are charged with PI.

Actually, these "activitists" are merely in training to ask "Would you like fries with your burger?" ... something they can't learn in a classroom.

Does anyone take protesting high school students seriously? All they care about is they got out of math for a day.

Those students have no "right" to skip school for any kind of protest. If HISD had any cajones, they would charge each kid with an unexcused absence and require a birth certificate or green card prior to returning.
Of course Judge Wayne T. Justice long ago required us to send the children of ILLEGAL aliens to school, so I suppose they don't "need no stinking badges", uh, I mean green cards. That fence can't get built fast enough to suit me.
To: Dr. Scarpetta
Someone should explain to these young idiots that they're going to be spending a lot of their own money on illegals throughout their lifetimes.
