10. Sen. Mike DeWine (R.-Ohio) Judiciary Committee member, voted for amnesty for agricultural workers and for spouses and children of illegals. Co-sponsored in-state tuition bill for illegals. Opposed increasing funding for Border Patrol and adding more ICE agents.
9. Sen. Patrick Leahy (D.-Vt.) Ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Worked with Sen. Specter on his amnesty-granting immigration bill and called building a fence along the United States border a cockamamie idea.
8. Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D.-Ill.) Co-sponsor of the House version of McCain-Kennedy. Roll Call reported that after a live debate on CNBC with immigration hawk Rep. Tom Tancredo (R.-Colo.) Guirerrez asked, Have you ever eaten in a restaurant? mocked Tancredo by saying, How could you eat from the plates touched by those nasty illegal immigrants? and called Tancredo a racist and bigot.
7. Rep. Howard Berman (D.-Calif.) Accused Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R.-Wis.) of playing to the cheap seats with his bill to construct a border fence. Co-ponsored legislation to increase amnesties for spouses and children of illegals.
6. Rep. John Conyers (D.-Mich.) Co-sponsored legislation to grant amnesty to illegal aliens with a family member or employer willing to sponsor them. Will assume Judiciary chairmanship if Democrats win control of the House in November.
5. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) Consistently opposes any restrictions on immigration. Calls measures to criminalize illegal immigrants and those who assist them draconian and inhumane. Co-sponsored the SOLVE Act with Rep. Gutierrez to create a temporary guest-worker program.
4. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D.-N.Y.) Once said she was adamantly against illegal immigrants, now supports legalizing the 11 million illegals living in the U.S. Has vowed to block any bill criminalizing illegal immigration, suggested the House immigration bill would have made Jesus a criminal.
3. Sen. Arlen Specter (R.-Pa.) Judiciary Chairman, introduced a bill to convert illegal aliens into legal guest-workers for six years without first making them return to their home country and to allow more temporary workers and their families into the United States.
2. Sen. Teddy Kennedy (D.-Mass.) Cosponsoring legislation with McCain to grant amnesty to illegal aliens and has repeatedly supported amnesty efforts. Favors giving illegal students amnesty and a free college education.
1. Sen. John McCain (R.-Ariz.) Lead sponsor with Teddy Kennedy of a bill to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. Joined Hillary Clinton, Kennedy and Charles Schumer expressing gratitude to a group of illegal Irish aliens for their actions to lobby Congress for amnesty.

I had no idea Jesus was ever in the United States.
Oh, wait, she meant Haysoos! Oh, well, yeah, it would make him a criminal.
You need to add the name of the ringleader of the gang of 10 George W. Bush (a.k.a. Guest Worker Bush).
"4. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D.-N.Y.) Once said she was adamantly against illegal immigrants, now supports legalizing the 11 million illegals living in the U.S. Has vowed to block any bill criminalizing illegal immigration, suggested the House immigration bill would have made Jesus a criminal."
Making them voters is the only way she could ever win the White House.
You got that right.
I am suprised Raul Grijalva (RAT AZ) didn't make the list.
Hey Teddy so you don't want those wind generators blocking your pretty view up thar in Mass. What if gather up all the illegals and station them off the Mass. coast - they could ride stationary bikes to generate electric power... will that work?
Durbin.
bttt
"You aren't supposed to reveal that illegals hate the current bill/proposals as it isn't really amnesty and actually punishes and enforces immigration laws."
Well, that's remarkable because all the signs I saw specified the Sessenbrenner bill. Nice try though.
Re: "Durbin."
Sir/Madame, please get it right... its Dick Turdbin ;-)
Go look up the legal definition of Amnesty and then look at the bill..
Should include David Dryer (R California)
"Go look up the legal definition of Amnesty and then look at the bill."
Okey-dokey =
"n., a general pardon for offenses against the government, etc. "
I read the bill. It's a general pardon. Perhaps you have it confused with the McCain proposed bill which had the illegals pay a token fine as a ruse to pretend it wasn't an amnesty.
You lose.
Chris Cannon of Utah should be in the top ten, for sure.

Is he required to carry that orange cone with him as a wide load warning device?
The current immigration bill in the Congress is helping American taxpayers and voters to ferret out the turncoats and garbage that have been elected to office. These politicians usually talk out of both sides of their mouth, now their true colors are showing loud and clear. Remember them at election time.
I believe it's actually a keychain fob to warn bystanders that he's about to get in his car....
The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA) created a new, formal process for deportation called expedited removal. This process was established by Congress to remove certain inadmissible aliens from the United States. The law authorized the Commissioner of the Immigration and Naturalization Service to designate certain groups of individuals for placement in expedited removal proceedings. Under expedited removal, individuals can be removed on an order issued by an INS officer. The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) began implementing the expedited removal provisions of IIRIRA on April 1, 1997.
Thanks for the list. I will send them my thoughts

LOL
Absolutely correct! While trying to pander to the Hispanic vote by proposing amnesty he's alienated most of the conservative base. If he'd shown any real and dynamic leadership he could have been part of the solution instead of the problem. All polls show that 70% of the population wants secure borders first and not amnesties disguised as "reform" measures. But here the elites of both parties are TOTALLY at odds with the electorate. Sadly, they think we're stupid and that if they go through the motions of making sham proposals they'll convince us they're "doing something". It's time for every FReeper to contact his senators -- the next couple weeks are crucial! Remind them that they swear an oath to uphold the Constitution. And Article IV, Section 4 says "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government and shall protect each of them against Invasion." And YES! We are being invaded by hordes of foreign illegals who are bringing utter social and economic disaster to us -- not to mention the real and present national security danger by failure to protect the borders of our sovereign state.
Sen. Mike DeWine (R.-Ohio)
Sen. Arlen Specter (R.-Pa.)
Sen. John McCain (R.-AZ.)
These guys need to be voted out!
Please include Lindsay Graham in your top ten. He should be nominated as RINO of the year as he sat there like a grinning simpleton and endorsed the McCain/Kennedy amnesty immigration bill. No wonder Rush calls him Vice President Lindsay Graham!
I agree.
Yep
Very good post. Very good thread. Thanks. BTTT!
That is a statement I fully agree with.
And how did Raul Grijalva miss the list? This guy owes his seat in Congress to illegal immigration. The other traitor from Arizona (Jim Kolbe) needs to be on the list too -- though he's leaving office so I suppose it's pointless.

You make a great observation! It's also rightfully been said that an ad hominem attack is the weakest form of argument. All of this just proves that because the Left is intellectually bankrupt and devoid of ideas and rational argumemnts to construct and defend a position that they resort to scurrilous and slanderous accusations. As far as I'm concerned calling someone a racist is no better than using the "N" word in an argument. Especially when polls show that 70% of Americans agree with us! It reminds me of what one of the defense lawyers in the OJ trial said: "We not only played the race card but we dealt it from the bottom of the deck."
It depends on what the meaning of "is" is, BillyBoy. Many RINOS began the journey in the same way in an attempt to become "moderates", capture the 'independent' vote, and so advance their personal political ambitions by making an illusory national appeal. Some even describe you as a moderate, BillyBoy. But as Freud said, sometimes a ciger is just a cigar. Although you found a novel use for it in the Oval Orifice.
Amnesty in this sense is rewarding lawbreakers by allowing them to keep the spoils of their crime.
Specter is in his 70's, in poor health, and he knows this is his swan song. The real chance to get rid of him and elect a true conservative was blown when George Bush refused to support Toomey in the primary. His payback? Specter holding hearings on the NSA matter!
OMG - I'll have nightmares! I'm afraid to sleep now. Thanks a lot!!! :-)
I agree that Specter is a gift from Bush that keeps on giving. But Specters hearings are indeed a payback. He has no more intention of holding a real investigation on that than he has intentions to become an astronaut.
Graham would like to be anybody's VP...
