Much hoopla over nothing, but Hey, the attention can only help, imo.
Methinks some moderate opponents are a bit desperate and are willing to stoop to anything to keep a conservative from getting good press and the nomination in the April 11 primary.
Go Howard!
Agreed.....looks like an honest error to me. Wonder how the MSM will try to spin this into another negative story about the "real situation in Iraq." The Bush Admin is right - the MSM has invested heavily in US defeat in Iraq.
I just went over to his web site and gave him a generous donation.
Who are these protestors, and who is trying to make this a big deal?
I can't believe the media calls this news.
The only ones firing are the liberal wackos at the Daily Kos.... and a few liberal freepers.
GO HOWARD!
The photo incident does show that fake pix and inappropriate pix cannot just slide by any more. Actually it is a caution to anyone, on the left as will as the rest of us, that photoshopping and substitution will not get by free. It is a good thing. That said, this one will likely not do any damage if K can produce some properly labeled Baghdad pix.
Oh give me a break! We'd be going apes#!t if this were a dem.
I'm not saying it's a huge deal or anything, but it is a bad lapse of judgement or some faulty planning. Either way, it's not good.
That said, I don't know enough about the candidates in this race to say if I like him or not, or if I perfer him to any of the others. May the best man win.
tee hee hee,, FR has some here trying to make hay out of this as well. LOL.
How about that latest poll for the Gub race?
The Phil and Westly debates should be real fun now.. lol
They already have, his explanation of an error by the webmaster is entirely plausible, regardless what some moderates and their supporters here try to impugn re: Howard's character.
We have less than 2 weeks to go. Expect the most conservative to be attacked , it's what moderate weinies and dems do, yaknow.
Have you looked at his website? He has hundreds of pics. Mistakes happen.
He corrected it immediately and apologized for the error of his webmaster.
There is NO conspiracy nor any indication of intent!
If we were going "apes#!t" we'd look as silly as they do!
Well, then. maybe they'll post instead the pics they took that really show the 'calm and stable' Baghdad.
Those would be pics from the outlying areas of Baghdad, I suspect, and not the Green Zone that is target numero uno or was for a long time.
He was a co-founder of Move America Forward, for starters.
He has a message and a lot of moderates will make what hay they can out of the smallest thing to toss mud in his path if not at him directly.
Thought this man was running for a House seat, not the US SENATE
Not quite. They pulled the erroneous photo. They *DID NOT* provide a photo of Baghdad showing the situation as he had claimed. Don't say he "corrected it" when he's instead done a modified hangout and hopes it'll go away.
Add this to the prolife group endorsement he was claiming which he actually didn't have and "Special K" looks more like the K stands for Klown.
They did, immediately when they were made aware of it. The page now reflects:
Downtown Baghdad
We originally posted a photograph not of Baghdad, Iraq but from Istanbul, Turkey where our delegation traveled on the way home to the United States. We apologize for this mistake. We have corrected it with a photograph we took from Baghdad. We took this photo of downtown Baghdad while we were in Iraq. Iraq (including Baghdad) is much more calm and stable than what many people believe it to be. But, each day the news media finds any violence occurring in the country and screams and shouts about it - in part because many journalists are opposed to the U.S. effort to fight terrorism.
Wrong. See post #17.
Nice post at #17. Glad they corrected it.
LOLOL
How's the poll numbers for your boy?
Not good I take it. ;-)
