Will the mullahs declare this to be "The Will of Allah"?
Will the mullahs declare this to be "The Will of Allah"?
Last of April beginning of May, after all the senseless footdraging at the UN and maybe the Iranian's régime will become so nervous they might slip and fire the first shot.
Whatever transpires in the near future concerning Iran, one eye should be kept on those Saudi Arabia oil fields, since Tehran's tyrants could (if not prevented) fire dozens of missiles directly into the main Saudi oil facility (the same one which has already had two recent previous attempts of jihadist terror.)
This would be the régimes last ditch effort to trigger "Western economic chaos". Hopefully our fly boys and men on the ground will remove any major threats similar to securing Saddam's missiles sights which were aimed at Israel.
The Iranian earthquakes should be viewed as a warning to the Iranian clerics as a sample of what's right around the corner, but they wont.
Just curious as to how that first shot may happen. Rocket lobs into Israel? Rockets or military action against our forces in Iraq? I just wonder how and who they'd strike if they pulled the trigger first.
BTW, very impressive About Page. Very nice. - OB1
Their military is practicing to be steam and/or glass..
correction of the comment: Is it a mockery of Mo to use his reference as a name of a game? Can we expect demonstrations in the ME?
Does this move the strike date to 29 April? Since the end of March strike date has passed, and the 6 April strike date is approaching with no sign of force mobilization, perhaps 29 April is now the earliest strike date.
"What do they mean "One unit of Shahab 2 missile is to be launched to resemble peace and friendship" ...resemble??
Maybe it has a big smiley face on it?
I want to know about the 1,500 gunboats. What exactly qualifies as a "gunboat"?
The Shahab launch is a warning to littoral States to be peaceful toward Iran - peace and friendship toward us (Iran) - or else. :-))
Using Mo's name gives it "standing" - as on behalf of all Islam, doesn't it. Iran wants to lead the charge to form a global caliphate with other Islamic States bowing to the leadership of the "Caliph Iran".
Have a great weekend. Thanks for the post.

Great questions! We know Iran & cohort in crime Syria are both behind the exported jihadic terrorism inside Iraq in an effort to drag US & allies directly in the middle of a full scale inter-Islamic civil war. What you stated concerning Iraq could very well be the trigger point, and or some insane sneak attempt against Israel, which would result in instant rather large parking lot were the entire brutal Mullah régime rules currently.
A confrontation with British naval vessels may be another contributing factor, since after Israel and US, Tehran's tyrants hate the British based on the old oil politics after WWI.
My main concern in the coming showdown with Iran is, unless prevented by our troops or people we have on the ground inside Iran, the Mullah madmen could order waves of missiles to be launched directly into the largest Saudi oil field directly across the Persian Gulf hoping to ignite millions of gallons of highly flammable petroleum products, coupled with reserves of natural gas & the interconnecting pipelines.

Such an attack, if the oil field and refineries were enveloped in an out of control roaring blaze, would send total panic through global markets, which the Iranian fanatics would do if the jihadic régime knew, that's it they are going to be captured or killed.

My concern is based on ongoing general energy market trader fear, that even though the last two attempts to blow up the massive Abqaiq oil compound failed never-the-less the terrorist attempts shot crude up than $2 a barrel, which on a straight futures contract equals 2K a contract in under an hour's worth of trading.
Talk about a vivid indication of the fear factor kicking in if traders actually saw "live" TV footage of the world's largest petroleum facility enveloped in 10.000 degrees petrol inferno. Stocks, the bond and currency markets, everyone will be go nutso, each one trying to unload and buy quicker then the schlub next to him.
9-11 was all about bring the America led Western global economy to her knees, and the Islamic killers also wanted to murder everyone in the White House and up on the Hill, in other words decapitate the leadership of American government plus create a instant world-wide financial meltdown.
You know what's worse? I have noticed an almost total lack of interest in this overall volatile subject which effects everyone, as if to say, if we don't think, discuss it, or make an attempt to fathom the situations, maybe, just maybe nothing will transpire - pre-911 mindset, phase II. On the other hand, you responded with great plausible overviews which I feel could indeed interplay into a far great conflict.
Geez now you can have a nice happy weekend after reading that stuff! lol. Thanks for your comment on the home page. There's too much on there though. I need to make sure everything still functions.

"Speedily, and in our day."
Time ran out months ago. Jack Straw telling the US military action isn't feasible is nonsense. Would he prefer to live under the imminent threat of Iranian nuke attack? That's what would happen if the world stood by and did nothing. Eventually, Iran would demand total compliance to Jihad or you'd be nuked. How long would the queen last? They'd nuke Buckingham palace and Parliament right after DC and the White House.
We're about to set off a bomb in Nevada which will produce a mushroom cloud. Supposedly not nuclear, but it has definite implications for Iran.
I have noticed an almost total lack of interest in this overall volatile subject which effects everyone, as if to say, if we don't think, discuss it, or make an attempt to fathom the situations, maybe, just maybe nothing will transpire.....
I too over the years have noticed this approach is taken by many many people as their way of coping with the potential threat of most any type of disaster, whether it be the threat of war, economic upheaval, natural disasters (think New Orleans), or possible disease pandemics (like the current avian flu situation). They would rather ignore it so it won't upset their happy thoughts rather than keep aware of it and assess it's potential and develop a personal plan of action as warranted.
Again, many thanks for the great insight. - OB1
Like the "N" word, Mo-ham-id (PBUH) is only an insult when we say it.
I expect that if Iran gets the nuke, they're going to issue an ultimatium, merciful souls that they are. US out of Iraq, and Jews out of Israel, or else.
Their latest stunt was to fire a missile in the midst of supertanker shipping lanes. Just brilliant!

I fully believe you are more then correct in stating Israel and our troops shall be targeted, since Iran's ruling tyrant Mahmoud Ahmadnejad has sworn to attempt to "wipe Israel off the map" they have roped themselves in to at least try. Obviously any military move on Iran's part to inflict a holocaust on Israel would be met with such incredible military might by the Israelis, the Iranian perpetrators would be targeted immediately and vaporized.

Unfortunately our troops and those of our allies serving in either Afghanistan and Iraq would become targets of jihadic revenge for the Iranians. Everything in our power must be geared to prevent missile and or biological attacks on those troops. If there was ever a current dictatorial Islamic régime more then willing to utilize germ-warfare it would be the Mahdi instigating Iranian Mullahcracy.
In relation to the Straight of Hormuz it is the energy life line for numerous nations throughout the globe, once again all necessary measure must be enacted to prevent major disruption of super-takers entering or exiting that geostrategic waterway. The Straight of Hormuz could rapidly become the number flash point in the coming conflict.
Have you noticed gas pump prices are quickly heading back to hurricane level price ranges of $3.00 a gallon or higher and we are not at war with Iran, yet, not has the hurricane season even started. I forecast a doubling of prices(+) if there is are dramatic sudden "double shortages" (Iran related war damage/sabotage, coupled with hurricane damage).
You are one of the remnant which clearly sees the economic potentials of some very rough times ahead. I firmly believe whenever these events do transpire we shall not be taken by surprise. Regrettably the majority will have no idea what or why they happened.
