The democrats were smart
They would declare her persona non gratta, ask that she be made to apologize to the officer and be censured for misconduct and perhaps fined. They could then declare that they do indeed stand for respect of the law and the little people.

Threaten to throw the book at her, have her arrested, Perp walk, mug shot the whole nine yards. Then:

The dems would let her rot.
