Just to stress again--> This music dedication is to provide entertainment, amusement, and fun for our Troops, Veterans, and their families. Everyone else's enjoyment is secondary. We appreciate it if you do enjoy the thread, but our target audience are the ones mentioned before.
Now, if you'd like to be added or removed from the Canteen Music Ping List, please keep a few things in mind:
You will be pinged at least 200 or more times on Friday night and all day Saturday.
Some of the music you'll find in your ping lists will probably not be to your liking. If so, there is always plenty of music coming.
All of the Canteen Deejays have the ping list. So? If you ask to be added/removed, please don't get upset if not all of them have done so yet. The Deejays are online at different times.
If you'd like to be added after reading this, please FReepmail MoJo2001 or Kathy In Alaska. We have no problems removing your name if you choose to just find us the regular way.
Requests:
You can request music 3 ways: Freepmail or ping laurenmarlowe unless the songs are inappropriate for kids, then you would ping MoJo2001. The reason for this? She doesn't like to offend children. Hehe!
You can also email requests at musicrequests4u@gmail.com .
So? Let's have fun!!!

Thank you for the Judas Priest request! Coming up! Queued 3!
I've added you to the Canteen ping list!
Nice to see you here!
Evening Warthogtjm, thanks for your request!
Coming up shortly!
Older than I as well but, I still enjoy those songs too.
Judging from the large US flags painted on this early B-24 I am guessing that this pic was taken before 1942.

A formation of B-24s at a training unit.

A trio of Mighty Eigth Airforce B-24s over England I believe.

Another formation of Liberators.

A US Navy PB4Y on patrol.

A good example of good ol American ingenuity. The crew of this B-24 used thier parachutes as drag chutes when they discovered that the brakes were out on thier B-24.

Tomorrow night more Libs. Y'all have a great night.
Regards
