Flag Waving Banned at Colorado School

LONGMONT, Colo. - Dozens of high school students protested a temporary school policy forbidding students from displaying the U.S. flag — as well as flags from other countries — amid racial tensions following immigration rallies. ADVERTISEMENT

Skyline High School Principal Tom Stumpf said American flags were brazenly waved in the faces of Hispanic students and in one case a Mexican flag was thrown into the face of another student.

"When it involves the American flag and its abuse in vilifying other people, we simply will not tolerate it," Stumpf said. "They were using the symbol derisively as misguided patriotism."

Students were warned about the policy Friday and several were suspended, although Stumpf would not provide details. Then, about 100 students protested during lunch time.

Student Dustin Carlson told Denver station KCNC-TV that he was suspended for two days.

"I'm getting suspended for it and personally I think that's uncalled for," he said. "If this country means freedom, then why can't we fly our own flag? It's ridiculous."

Thousands of high school students Friday in California, Texas, Nevada and other states protested the tough immigration laws proposed in the House. Some waved Mexican flags and carried signs saying "We are not criminals."

On Monday, about 150 high school students, including some from Skyline, protested in Longmont.

"People are taking it to a whole other level," said Laura Avitia. "I don't think they know why we were protesting."

Damm straight wave that flag> They came here, we did not go there. I may sound crazy , but did anybody think maybe Al Queda could be doing this to get to Bush . There is an awful lot of money stuck in these rallies. Also don't put it past Soros and Heinzie to finance them . Seems to me they got an awful lot of money for these rallies fo poor people coming here to cut lawns.Something is fishy in the good ol USA.This gingo is going to find out!

I can understand telling a bunch of GI's in Saudi or Iraq that carrying the US flag is bad...don't do it. I can understand telling a bunch of US representatives at the Olympics...not to wave the US flag...makes us look bad. But in your state...your local town...your school? No. Just say no. Someone has a problem with the US flag within the borders of the US...just leave....go elsewhere. This is real simple. Tell the school...the represenatives...the local paper...whoever...that you just ain't going to play that game. They may leave if the US flag makes them feel that way.

If you burned the flag, however.......now that would be an act of courage.......

welcome to Soviet America!

My liberal relatives are also disgusted with this. Illegal immigration is all the talk in our family this past week. What really has gotten my liberal relatives angry is the mexican flax waving all over the place.

If someone wants to be an American citizen, the rules are: first you have to love America and all it stands for, including love of the red, white and blue.

Carrying a Mexican flag and demanding the rights and privileges of American citizenship should be a disqualifier.

Here's more:

RENT-A-PROTESTERS

So just where did those thousands and thousands of protesters that showed up around the country to protest an immigration bill in Congress come from? Were they angry immigrants sitting in their government housing watching C-SPAN ... only to become upset at a bill that was just out of committee? Not hardly.

The truth is starting to come out about just where these folks came from. They were protesting in the street because ..... because they were told to. It turns out the Spanish media was stoking the fire. In fact, they went a step further ... even telling them when and where to protest...what to wear and how to do it. It was an all-out propaganda war.

And just where will you hear this reported? ... Not in the mainstream media. They will report that the protests took place, then say nothing about how they got there.

As it turns out, these were essentially rent-a-mobs ... carefully coordinated over a period of weeks to show up and do their thing.

"WE HAVE GOT TO ELIMINATE THE GRINGOS"

March 30, 2006 - NewsWithViews.com

The words above were spoken by Jose Angel Gutierrez,

professor, University of Texas, Arlington, (Texas)

and founder of the La Raza Unida political party.

His full comment was: "We have an aging white America ... They are dying ... We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him."

In a column dated March 25, 2006, by Ernesto Cienguegos titled "La Gran Marcha" surpasses all expectations," Cienguegos wrote: “What does the immense success of "La Gran Marcha" mean to Mexicanos and other Latinos? It simply means that we now have the numbers, the political will and the organizational skills to direct our own destinies and not be subservient to the White and Jewish power structures."

"Brazenly" waving the flag ... "American flag and its abuse in vilifying other people..." So the principal finds waving the flag offensive and grounds for dismissing students from school. He may well be a speaker at the next Democratic Convention. He's their kind of hero (and from some of the posts on FR there should be more than a few elitist globalist RINOs who find him heroic as well).

Anything that is anti-Bush will become a lap dog of the Democrats.

Already the Hispano-fascists are claiming this is their land and that they're victims of a white culture; I've seen a demonstration here first-hand.

Now I'm seeing upside down US flag stickers on cars. Gear-up; it's going to get worse.

Here's the deal:

The Mexican government wants veto power over U.S. immigration policy. Outrageously, many in our own government are assuming the Hyphenate-Fellate position and are only too happy to oblige, as long as there's votes and campaign contributions to be had.

The protestors--carrying Mexican flags---and the Mexican government share the same goals: legalize Mexican illegal aliens and keep the borders open. The Mexican government sees this as a way to relieve economic pressure on their government to reform the economy.

Mexico's leaders also work to retain the loyalty of the immigrant mobs so that, even if our laws allow them to become American citizens, they retain their loyalty to Bexico, and are subjects of the Mexican government.

In the Mexican Congress, it was recently announced that a document would be drafted, to show support for the protest marches in our country. The Mexican government published advertisements in leading American newspapers calling for the legalization of illegal immigrants (those in the United States, not in Mexico) and "a far-reaching guest workers scheme." Not only that, said the ads, but "in order for a US guest workers program to be viable, Mexico should participate in its design, management, supervision and evaluation."

Ruben Aguilar, spokesman for President Vicente Fox, made this statement to support the marches: "The recent protests carried out in different places in the United States are indicative of the imminent necessity of a migratory accord that corresponds to the interests of both countries, and that especially to the defense of the rights of migrants. The government of the (Mexican) Republic ratifies its commitment to the Mexicans who live in the United States and its intention to work in the defense of their rights ..."

EXHIBIT ONE: This is a direct violation of the Vienna Convention that prohbits foreign nationals from interferring in the political affairs of a host country. The Department of State‘s legal affairs office has stated that foreigners on American soil interfering in the internal affairs of the US is inconsistent with the 1963 Vienna Convention that prohibits visiting foreigners from interferring in the affairs of host countries.

EXHIBIT TWO: Congress provided in the Civil Rights Act of 1866 declaring persons born in the US who are subject to a foreign power are deemed to be non-citizens of the United States. That means children of immigrants---anchor babies---and any other individuals born here---who are running around carrying Mexican flags, and following the orders of the Mexican government, are not considered US citizens under the 1866 US Civil Rights law.

I hope they do not forget their frustration in Nov.

So what are they/we going to do come November? Let's see, the Democrats support the amnesty and the majority of Republicans are supporting the amnesty...led by their commander in chier "W". This in spite of every poll that says the majority of Americans don't want it. Its time for a third party that puts the interests of real Americans first....not the interests of those who march in our streets waving other nations flags.

1. Decades of flacid immigration policy and cultivation of a large population dependent on the tax-funded dole is coming home to roost.

2. The legalized slaughter of tens of millions of unborn Americans is coming home to roost.

3. The general defining of deviancy and citizenship down is coming home to roost.

4. National, state, local, and private financial balance sheets are bleeding red ink, so that national fiscal profligacy is also on the verge of coming home to roost.

Expect a lot of eggs to be laid shortly, many of them already quite rotten.
