We're being set up with a false choice between Amnesty and Amnesty-with-weasel-words ("guest worker", "temporary", etc)

If the law got serious about prosecuting the employers the illegals would self-deport in double quick time. If there weren't jobs here for them there would hardly be a need for a wall/fence/etc. Not on their account.

I don't want McCain for prez either, and hopefully(please,Lord,please) he will be pulled in the primaries, but what will the terrorist response be to the U.S. electing the wife, a FEMALE, of a former president who did absolutly nothing to stop terrorism? Could the U.S. appear any weaker to people who, by comparison, make Henry VIII look like a suffragette?

Dear Senator McCain,
Though I've disagreed strongly with some of your comments and positions over the years, I very much appreciate your strong support of President Bush, especially regarding the war on terror and the Dubai port issue. I also think your take on the illegal immigration issue is rational and reasonable. If you receive the Republican nomination for president in 08, you can count on my support.
