Nobody accused the kid of being racist. The only thing I was saying is that we need to closely examine this kids behavior. Just like we don't want Mexicans running around with a Mexican flag when they are illegal.. protesting us... we don't want this little white kid throwing around the flag at any person he deems to be hispanic looking.
Based on the article it appears the kid needs an attitude adjustment.

The punishement was due to him cursing at a teacher.
I guess he'll learn to watch his mouth then when talking to his elders.

This just infuriates me! We have enough to deal with in this country without further confusing the issues. Your country of origin has nothing to do with your race. As far as banning the flag or any patriotic symbol, that is just assinine and moronic. How can we teach our children personal responsibility if the rules keep changing?
