EVERYONE entering the Capitol should have to go through the metal detector. Would anyone really put it past a nut like McKinney to smuggle in a weapon and use it against someone she regards as "racist"? The fact that someone has been elected by a pocket of the sheeple is hardly an assurance that the person isn't a security risk.

NYC learned this the hard way, when someone who was accompanying a credentialled council member was waved around the security checkpoint/metal detector because the council member vouched for him. The guy then proceeded to fatally shoot the very council member who had escorted him in, and also shoot up the visitors' gallery which had a bunch of little kids on a school field trip in it. Mayor Bloomberg then decreed that EVERYONE, himself included, goes through the security checkpoint and metal detector.

Well the good part is that McKinney has single handily ensured the Republicans will win majorities in the 2006 midterm elections.

Obviously she is a Boob! Can you imagine any Capital Officer not being trained in inappropriate touching? I wish he would have Rodney Kinged her, but these guys are professionals who are concerned about their careers.

That pretty much sums it up, huh? I like it when people can cut through the bull and nail the salient point so efficiently!

BTW, I'm really digging your radio station. I'm somewhat of an amateur historian of the period as well. Thanks for the effort; it's outstanding entertainment and I occasionally learn a thing or two!

McHenry and Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) plan to introduce a resolution today to show appreciation for the Capitol Police.

Good idea. Show appreciation by rescinding the Congressional exemption from passing through the security measures.

Typical Democratic jargon. Do as I say but not what I do. They all feel they are elitists and try to walk the walk. But this has gone too far. Only Democrats can literally get away with murder.

McKinney was, according to one dem, 'Clearly not intending to assault the police officer'? Oh, really. What's the definition of a punch?

Heard on Fox that the head of the Capitol Police Dept. is retiring, so he doesn't have to worry about taking flak from anyone. (He's said the worst part of the job is the politicizing of everything). Therefore, fed up with her behavior, he might well refer this for prosecution.

Race Card - why you wanna go play dat race card? Why use a black reference?
What's next? Calling a spade a spade?
Suggesting that I'm being a bit niggardly in my response to this situation since it's all about me?

If this incident was not on tape, Blacks would already be provoked to riot in DC.

“The notion that they would charge her is just beyond ludicrous, regardless of what happened. It sounds like a misunderstanding. She clearly wasn’t intending to assault a police officer.”

How in the hell do you hit someone if you were not intending to assult them? These Democratic aides are about as stupid as their bosses. I guess this is great training for them so they can run for office in the future. An endless supply of morons.

Don't you also hate when they use the word "Clearly" when there is nothing "clear" about the situation at all. We have no idea what her intent was, but we certainly know what her actions were. Sheesh.

She could really make friends if the Capital Police decided to end the courtesy go around and make all Congress Members line up and go through the Metal Detectors. Note* Shoes should be removed also.

“The notion that they would charge her is just beyond ludicrous, regardless of what happened.

Huh? She can cold cock a police officer and shouldn't be charged?

It sounds like a misunderstanding. She clearly wasn’t intending to assault a police officer.”

What are you "intending" when you punch an officer in the chest with your cellphone?
