Sandy Berger Tries to 'Anchor Aweigh' Curt Weldon (Able Danger)

Proving that hes just as adept at stuffing an election candidates coffers as he is at stuffing his own socks, Sandy Berger hosted an "almost secret" Washington fund-raiser for a recently retired three-star vice admiral last night.
Vice Adm. Joseph Sestak Jr, as the Village People would say, is "In the Navy". And when you want to take an Able Danger Congressman Curt Weldon down, what better way than to send in the Navy?
Berger, dubbed "Sandy Burglar" by radio meister Rush Limbaugh, gained notoriety for trying to stuff classified documents into his socks and other attire. The man, who served as President Bill Clintons second-term national security adviser, pleaded guilty last year to removing classified material from the National Archives. He originally claimed it was an "honest mistake", but later owned up that he took the terrorism documents by hiding them, schoolboy fashion in his jacket--then cut some of them up with scissors. The almost-secret fundraiser Berger hosted for Navy Man Sestak Jr. was revealed in a story by the Delaware County Daily Times.

According to a story I read today in the Delaware County Daily Times, Sestak managed to raise $420,000 in the past two months, keeping him close with weldon who raised $450,000. Sestak is getting the Clitonistas to pour money into this race, which could really hurt Weldon.

Vice Adm. Joseph Sestak Jr is one of the people that Hackworth would call a "Perfumed Prince". The only way anybody would follow this arrogant piece of work was out of sheer curiosity.
Don't let anybody tell you he would be good for PA. The current CNO made sure this guy made an exit to CIVLANT as fast as he could. Now the Dems have rallied around him because he will bad mouth his old Commander in Chief. Let's support Weldon, he is the real deal.

Something even more fearful is the open attempt to cover up the Barrett Report and this campaign to silence Kurt Weldon by removing him from Congress to shut down Able Danger inquiries, yet no one in the media is interested, or willing to question the players and their motives.

"Something even more fearful is the open attempt to cover up the Barrett Report and this campaign to silence Kurt Weldon by removing him from Congress to shut down Able Danger inquiries, yet no one in the media is interested, or willing to question the players and their motives." This is a disgrace. They have to silence Weldon and Able Danger to hide the fact that the Clinton "Turn a Blind Eye" foreign policy and the Gorelick Wall led to 9/11/01.

I can't help but wonder about the depths of incompetence (or something worse) in the Bush / Gonzales Justice Department that refuses to scrutinize the workings of Clinton/Berger/Gorelick/Soros, et. al..
I want to support and respect this administration so bad, yet... I am bothered. Really bothered, by all of this.

It's a tradition, to some degree, to not prosecute the former administration. One that usually is fine, unless you have such utter crooks in office. So yes, Gonzales should be going after these cretins. And Sandy Berger should be chipping rock in the federal pen as we speak.

Oh, heck. A few years back Rockefellar released information about US satellites... it was top secret. No one went after him, because he is "one of them". If a scientist or lay person had stumbled upon the information and leaked it to the press, they would have been jailed for harming nat'l security. But old Jay? He's one of the "good ole boys", nothing sticks to him.

While I shudder at the thought of Sandy Burglar being the head of NSA, the idea of Sleestaks in Congress sends me screaming in fear.
And has anyone given any thought to how Congressman Chaka Fatah would react?

How would he be able to vote and propose bills and ammendments if he's hiding in a pylon or the cloakroom?
Thank you all, my work is done here.

Found on some blogs:
The CNO barely finished his post Change of Command cake when we saw the first head on a pike out front of The Navy Yard on Monday morning.Vice Admiral Joseph A. Sestak, Jr., Deputy Chief of Naval Operations Warfare Requirements and Programs (N6/N7) is looking for a new UIC. The Navy Times has the details, here's the executive summary.
Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (DCNO) Vice Adm. Joseph Sestak was administratively reassigned July 25 by new Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Mullen, according to Rear Adm. T. McCreary, chief of naval information. Rear Adm. Mark Edwards, currently serving as director of the Surface Warfare Division, will serve as the acting DCNO until such time as a relief can be identified, nominated and confirmed, McCreary said.
A source within the Navy Department said there were no allegations of misconduct on the part of Sestak. Rather, he said, the move is being made because of poor command climate.
That translates as "No one wanted to work for the guy, those who did had lousy retention, etc, etc."
Source
Adm. Sestak, then the head of the Navy's "Deep Blue" think tank, was grappling with the bombing lessons of Afghanistan, actively planning air strikes for an upcoming Iraq war: He was one of the key Navy planners involved in the earliest stages of putting together Operation Iraqi Freedom, a war he now opposes. Thanks so speaking out when it mattered, Joe.
Navy Times reported in July that Sestak was removed from his final job as Deputy Chief of Naval Operations by the incoming new Chief because of "poor command climate" in his office. According to two Navy sources, both of whom requested anonymity, Sestak had a reputation for poor leadership, for driving his staffers and keeping them in the office all night, for being a control freak and a micro-manager.
I visited Sestak in his Pentagon office in 2002 and have spoken to a couple of his ex-staffers who generally confirm the "sensitivity" rap against the Admiral, though to be fair, they say he was a brilliant visionary, certainly something in short supply in the Pentagon. He is credited as a strong bureaucratic infighter. And, hey, we were fighting a war.
So, a Navy hero who will play the anti-hero wants to be elected as what? He hasn't lived in his district since high school and his only claim to fame is 31 years of war-making.

The bolded part might be important in this fight. Any way to get this info to Weldon?

For a good starting place, look at the past histories of Bush Administration appointees Asa Hutchinson, [Drug Enforcement Administration] John Ashcroft [previous Attorney General] and John C. Danforth, the former Ambassador to the United Nations, who had previously served as a U.S. Senator from Missouri and as the U.S. Ambassador to the Sudan. Follow their backgrounds, the money, the timing of their resignations, and connect the dots.

I think you just wrote what a lot of us are thinking about the Bush administration. I'm thinking that Mr. Bush is getting some really bad advice or he is part and parcel of the main problem. I've said that he needs to get a mean streak going and tear up a bunch of the dimwits, (and a few RINOS too !!) or they will continue to eat his lunch. It is to the point that Mr. Bush is hurting the conservative cause, and he needs to do a `180, or it's over.
