Besides, it isn't his turn, and being a polite man, he isn't going to 'take cuts'.

Remember: The deal is:
"Bush-> Clinton-> Bush->Clinton..

And assuming the Republic survives Hillary, THEN it will be "Jeb's Turn".

I don't know that it's really all so cur and dried. A lot of people on the left don't want Senator Clinton to be the nominee. And, you never know what Gov Bush will do -- he may decide he's had enough of a public life. He's been very successful as Florida's only two-term GOP gov. He may run for prez someday, but, if he didn't -- he's already made history. On his own.
