Clinton campaign treats potential challengers very differently

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — In February, when fiery conservative John Spencer said Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton "aids and abets our enemies" in the war on terrorism, the former first lady's camp declined to comment.

Six weeks later, when it was reported that Spencer's newly announced rival for the Republican Senate nomination, Kathleen Troia "KT" McFarland, had told a GOP gathering that Clinton had helicopters flying over her Long Island home to spy on her, the senator's team was quick to respond.

"We at the Hillary campaign wish Ms. McFarland the best and hope she gets the rest she needs," Clinton adviser Howard Wolfson said then.

Such has often been the case in this tale of two challengers: One, (Spencer) largely ignored by Clinton in recent months despite having been a big-city mayor and winning the backing of the chairmen of the state Republican and Conservative parties; the other (McFarland) getting plenty of attention even though her last government job was 20 years ago, she has never run for office and she only began her campaign last month.

Democratic strategist Hank Sheinkopf said the reason is clear.

"They would much rather face Spencer," said Sheinkopf, who is not involved in this year's Senate race.

That is a view shared by the McFarland camp.

"Hillary Clinton and her campaign team obviously would prefer to run against John Spencer, so they are taking potshots at KT McFarland every chance they get," said McFarland aide William O'Reilly. "It's the right strategy for them."

That doesn't make any sense. If they'd rather run against Spencer they wouldn't draw attention to McFarland.

Typical Clinton spin, that's all. Hillary is scared of facing Spencer.

Right, the real reason they are trying to ignore Spencer is
that he is going after Hillary hard on abortion. , and partial-birth abortion doesn't go down too well, even in New York, which has a large Catholic voter base.

I really wish there was a way to present a video, commercial, or something that showed very graphically the partial birth process.

I am pretty sure the Alphabet networks would never allow a paid ad or anything like that to air. But, Cspan and those channels that you watch when you want to go to sleep(just kidding but sometimes they are that boring) that show lve coverage of our lazy @ss senators and congressmen could work.

Picture this we have one congressman or woman that has the balls to present a video to their peers while it is being televised by Cspan.

Any ideas on how to get this out there? I mean if the anti smoking lobby can get all these stupid @ss commercials and ads why can't something with so much more importance.

Maybe wrap some tracto trailers with graphics of the procedure and let some good company drive them across the country.

"They would much rather face Spencer," Yes they would and isn't that wonderful?

These rat geniuses thought they wanted Spencer over Pirro and now Spencer over McFarland. Ordinarily this would be the ideal situation. BUT this is not an ordinary race. IF Mrs. Clinton was NOT also running for president, NO ONE would give John Spencer two cents. He would be ignored to a slow and painful death. BUT Mrs. Clinton IS running two campaigns at the same time. Because of this John Spencer has become America's candidate. There are already 50,000 people who have contributed to his campaign. There is at least one contributor from every state. The "experts" who are advising Mrs. Clinton had no idea of how many people despise her. She is the red meat red flag conservative America has been waiting to get at, and John Spencer is their chance.

These people were too stupid to realize this. It never occurred to them that Pirro would very quickly be abandoned by the conservatives she would need to even break 40%. If she were running against Pirro Mrs. Clinton could have tucked away a victory very early and turned to her presidential campaign with a two year head start.
Sheinkopf is a dumkopf. The rat blew on this one. Look at how fast Spencer has closed on her without even having the official nomination. On Labor Day 1991, Mrs. Clinton is quoted as saying " Where is the G&*D#$M f&*K*ng flag?.... I want the G&*D#$M F&*K*ng flag up every f&*K*ng morning at F&*K*ng sunrise." JohnSpencer is by far the more powerful candidate. He will get the Republican and Conservative Party nominations, and can potentially do more harm to the Arkansas Grifters' plans to make Hillary your POTUS.

Is this the Hillary of 900 FBI files? The Hillary that hired Pellicano to dig up dirt on Bill's broads? The Hillary that call Paul Frey a F--king Jew bastard. The Hillary that received Illegal money from the LA fund raiser.

The LA Times is running series after series on Pellicano and not one mention that Hillary hired him.

My God and people still want Hillary to run for the highest office in the land, what have we come to?

"They would much rather face Spencer," said Sheinkopf, who is not involved in this year's Senate race.

I wonder if he could say this with a straight face?
