The judge overseeing the death penalty trial of Zacarias Moussaoui yesterday ordered prosecutors to provide hundreds of thousands of government documents generated as evidence in the case to lawyers representing families of victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema issued the order in connection with a civil lawsuit filed by the families against the aviation industry, alleging that it failed to prevent the attacks. The civil case is pending in New York, and Moussaoui is on trial in a separate criminal proceeding in Alexandria.

John Loftus has some 9/11 families as clients and he's suing Saudi Arabia.
Before this is over, this country will be torn asunder.

And more sorry AS# lawyers are out to get billions as they did with the tobacco industry. It is a shame that these scum are allowed to gain riches through their own court system as they are the judges and the people who will benefit from the money received.
Scum! Scum! Scum!

Didnt victims of 911 all get mony from various agencis who collected after 911? Didnt they all get a rather generous portion? How much is enough? Whatever they get the lawyes will get the greatest portion.

These are the families that did not take the government's money but preferred to hold out for large settlements from lawsuits against the airlines.
A small percentage but they will cause much grief.
In the end I hope they don't make a penny and a pox on the attorneys who exploited these family's grief.
Some of the families sound unhinged.

How does suing Saudi Arabia tear the USA asunder?
Saudi Arabia is up to its neck in 9-11 and the rest of global Jihad. Suing won't get too far, but it's entirely justified.

Just listening to the ugly rhetoric is not helpful.
Sorry but some families have hired Normal Siegel, former head of the NY ACLU to sue on behalf of their 9/11 victims.
Suing the 'leadership' in NY. Firefighters, Rudy, etc.
It will be ugly and will accomplish nothing.
That's my opinion.

They should be sueing Al Gore and Clinton. They shelved the report from 1996 that recommended improvements to Airport Security that could have made 9/11 impossible. For shelving the report they got $600K in campaign donations from the airline industry.
Criminal conduct for sure, but the milquetoast republicans will never hold them accountable.
