My wife has been on forums that are politically and sexually eclectic and picked up the nickname of "The Queen of TMI." So my sensitivities aren't as sensitive as maybe they once were and should be. 8>)

Well, I'm not a lesbian, or gay

Not that there is anything relevant with that prefaced pronouncement. LOL

You seem quite discerning regarding movies -what about vocabulary and word usage? Your use of the "lesbian" and "gay" terms to refer to males and females suffering the homosexual disorder does imply you have perhaps unwittingly bought into the homosexual agenda propaganda party line hook line and sinker.

homosexual: Definition, Synonyms and Much More From Answers.com

homosexual

adjective

Of, relating to, or having a sexual orientation to persons of the same sex.

noun Usage Problem.

A homosexual person; a gay man or a lesbian.

USAGE NOTE: Many people now avoid using homosexual because of the emphasis this term places on sexuality. Indeed, the words gay and lesbian, which stress cultural and social matters over sex, are frequently better choices. Homosexual is most objectionable when used as a noun; here gay man and gay woman or lesbian and their plural forms are called for. It is generally unobjectionable when used adjectivally, as in a homosexual relationship, although gay, lesbian, or same-sex are also available for adjectival use. See Usage Notes at gay.

As far as I know the only thing that differentiates homosexuals from heterosexuals is SEX.

Can provide insight beyond more than touting this 'gay' movie and educate me on just what comprises the "cultural and social" differences which are exclusive to and encompass male and or female homosexuals?

In other words -is there something fundamental that I am not aware of premising the terms 'gay' & lesbian' OR is it simply as I suspect a leftist "usage suggestion" -propaganda parroted by both witting and unwitting tools of the left?

Thanks for pointing that out (the female nudity) among the din.

Also I would think the two murders (particularly the castration) would render this film utterly unsuitable for prison viewing.

I use all those terms, generally, "gay" to refer to males, "lesbian", of course to refer to females, and "homosexual" or "homosexuality" to refer to people who have a sexual attraction to members of their own gender. As to whether or not it is learned behavior, or inherent in one's biological makeup, I'm not certain; but nonetheless, religious or political preferences fall into the former category, and as long as said preferences cause me no harm, I'm fairly tolerent of them, as well.

In other words -is there something fundamental that I am not aware of premising the terms 'gay' & lesbian' OR is it simply as I suspect a leftist "usage suggestion" -propaganda parroted by both witting and unwitting tools of the left?

They're just terms, and I prefer to use a variety of them when I write, that's all. Everybody knows what they mean, without having to consult online dictionaries. I resist using terms just to favor or discredit one side or the other in political debate--I eschew the terms "pro-life" and "anti-choice", I simply describe myself as "anti-abortion" and those favoring this practice as "pro-abortion". If a liberal objects to the latter term, I ask if their great-great-grandparents were "pro-choice" on slavery 160 years ago, even if they wouldn't own a slave themselves. That usually makes my point.
