I found this by typing Arkansas Coalition for Comprehensive Immigration Reform, which turns out to be a pro-illegal organization.

There will be a rally/protest Monday April 10th 3-5pm at the Arkansas State Capitol by this group. I assume that the Tyson's memo is for their workers to go to this event. This company that can't survive without guestworkers made over 1 billion dollars profit last year! I briefly mention them in my articles: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/1602572/posts

I had no idea they would be so open in supporting illegal immigration. I guess they figure nobody will care about their memos

You can call the Arkansas Coalition for Comprehensive Immigration at 501-376-7151 and ask them how we're going to pay for all the illegals they want. Has your company given you a pro-illegal memo?

I live in chicken country too, and I'd like to correct one statement by Tyson:

"Tyson Foods' workforce is composed of a diverse non-English-speaking population, reflecting the customers we serve countries south of America, and communities wages in which we operate and serve.

If you eat chicken, cough up the extra bucks for Free Range.

Believe it or not, I was tempted to go and shoot a turkey last November to send to my mother. Then I realized that 1. she hates the idea of me hunting and 2. she has gotten so used to factory-raised turkey that she would find a REAL turkey to be "gamey."

Tyson Foods has all the compassion and interest in illegals that it has in the chickens it plucks and slaughters. Both are a means to an end of profit.

Tyson's pollutes the countryside with Chicken offal, and they want to burden the taxpayer with the social upkeep of their cheap illegal hires.

I don't eat meat BUT free range is the way to go. Hunting grosses me out BUT someone hunting for the pot is better than supporting this corporate welfare BS.

don tyson could teach michael corleone a thing or two.

Remember back in 1991 when 60 mins was going after the USDA for allowing processing lines in chicken facilities too fast and concommitant salmonella contamination??

Fast forward to Jan 1993. Where are those stories??? Tyson Clinton MSM media?? Beleive me line speeds were not affected by 60 minutes....

The more pressure we keep on Mexico, immigration-wise, the more reformers inside of Mexico can be emboldened and empowered to scale back monopolists' abuses down there which keep our own country flooded with economic refugees. Here's an interesting new thread on new legal progress that finally emerged in Mexico I think as a result of immigration reform's failure:

The Senate, House and White House are seriously confused about what is at issue and what is at stake here.

The issue of a guest worker program is completely separate from the issue of illegal aliens.

We have a guest worker program. It may need to be reformed but illegal aliens are those who have not applied to be guest workers. There are 11 million of them. (or more) The only thing needing reform now concerns illegal aliens and border security. We need to enforce the existing laws respecting the presence and employment of illegal aliens and border security.

Border security is the number one problem in this debate. The flood of illegal aliens is a major factor in relation to our lack of border security but it is only one factor. There is also a matter of national security in a time of war and in an age when terrorists have set their sights on inflicting mass destruction on our society.

After the issues of border security and millions of illegal foreign nationals on our soil the matter of guest workers is very small. Until the first two problems are thoroughly and firmly addressed the guest worker issue should not even be discussed.

The President the Senate and the House need to get that message with unambiguous resolve.

Border security! No employment for illegal aliens!

Immigration and a guest worker program are separate issues from the above.

Now is the time to put the pressure on!
