I think he is close to 90. I've had the pleasure to be with him in studio three times. He has had an amazing career.

Here's to a better and stronger America. See you at 10. See you then.

I think he started back in the 50's. Unfortunately (fortunately, actually), I can remember back that far. Early t.v. KTLA comes to mind.

Yeah, as i recall he also rode a Palomino horse every year in the Rose Parade. Certainly a Reaganesque figure in conservative news commentators.

The more pressure we keep on Mexico, immigration-wise, the more reformers
inside of Mexico can be emboldened and empowered to scale back monopolists'
abuses down there which keep our own country flooded with economic refugees.
Here's an interesting new thread on new legal reform progress that finally
emerged in Mexico I think as a result of immigration reform's failure:

We can make a difference for our sake, and their's as well. Isn't it the
neighborly thing to do?

Radio news broadcasts have been emphasizing that the demonstrators/marchers today are doing so under the American flag, not the Mexican flag.

Someone posted in another thread earlier today that they were seeing many Mexican flags in the crowd (Dallas, I think).

It will be interesting to see non-photochopped pix of today's marches and see whether the Mexican flags were flown.

Did word circulate for protesters to leave the Mexican flags at home, or are the newsies just not seeing them?

Some of the pix from last week were 'modified' so as not to show Mexican flags that were actually present at the demonstrations.

Terry is smoking hot!!! He wants us to turn in illegal alien employers --- the whistlerblower collects half the fine. Great idea. He wants to give them 90 days to get out of here. If they don't leave, they get a year in a jail eating baloney sandwiches.

The invasion has started and America was asleep!

Dr. Savage has been saying for years that without Borders, Language, and Culture you don't have a country. Borders have been open far too long allowing millions of illegals to walk in, most things today are in two languages including our election documents, and now we are loosing our culture.

These are some graphics and data I found recently. Note that much of the data is 1990-2000. It seems that very little data exists for 2001-2006.

Government report:

USCIS Statistics: Illegals

Note the chart on page 7, showing an increase from 3.5 million in 1990 to 7.0 million in 2000. Note that that doesn't include the last 5 years and the most recent flood, which is estimated at thousands per day.

Time Poll: Build Border Fence, Deport Illegals
NewsMax.com ^ | April 9, 2006 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 04/09/2006 8:40:20 PM PDT by Carl/NewsMax

Americans support building a security fence along the entire 2,000 mile U.S.- Mexican border by a landslide, a new Time magazine poll has found.

By a margin of 56 to 40 percent, respondents said they want the wall built from sea to shining sea - not just the 700 miles stipulated in the House plan, a proposal the press calls "draconian."

In more evidence that the American people want a tougher crackdown on illegal immigration than anything favored by Congress or the media, 62 percent told Time that they favored using the military to guard the border. Just 35 percent opposed.

But the poll's biggest shocker may be on the question of deporting illegals back to their native country, an option that politicians and the press say is out of the question.

Time found, however, that 47 percent of those surveyed actually favor deporting "all illegal immigrants." 49 percent were opposed.

And 51 percent said the U.S. would be "better of" if all illegals were deported and the border sealed to prevent any more from coming in. Just 38 percent disagreed.

A full 75 percent say illegals should be denied government supplied healthcare and food stamps, with 21 percent saying they should get those benefits. 69 percent say illegals shouldn't be allowed to get U.S. drivers licenses.

Time surveyed 1004 adult Americans on March 29 and 30. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 3 percent
