If Minutemen Are Vigilantes, What Do You Call 500,000 Illegal Aliens Demanding Rights?

When the Minutemen set up shop at the Arizona border last year to call attention to the illegal alien loophole in US Homeland Security, President Bush foolishly chided these brave patriots by calling them vigilantes. Although chagrined at being deserted by the man who has the constitutional responsibility and authority to defend our borders, the Minutemen dug in their heels and persisted. And persisted.
Their Yankee determination to do the right thing was rewarded when President Bush finally sent additional border patrol agents to Arizona. Even the Mexican government was motivated to pay greater attention, at least temporarily, because of the due diligence of heroic Minutemen.
Before the Minuteman took their courageous stand, open border advocates and anti-American liberals insisted it was impossible to stop illegal immigration. Best to just accept reality, learn Spanish, and switch to rice and beans as food stables, according to the leftists and Hispanic racists.
Thank God, the Minutemen PROVED illegal aliens CAN be stopped, thereby delivering a great victory on behalf of all American citizens.

Their other popular chant is:
"!Aqui estamos, y no nos vamos!"
That means, "We're here now, and we're not leaving," as in "Try to make me leave gringo! Just try, and see what happens!"

A dirty civil war in a dozen major cities will be a horror show and a blood bath. We will all regret its coming. It should never have come to this.
When it's over, I hope that thousands of traitor Quislings, (who set us up for civil war out of their greed for illegal alien wages), are hung from trees.

Mr. Robinson, I sincerely believe that the current national path we are on will lead us straight into a bloody civil war. I want to avert this crisis, which is nobody's interest. Putting on blinders will not see us safely through the minefield this nation is stumbling into headlong.
I feel that it is my duty to spread the alarm anywhere that I can, and yes, I am very bitter about the greedy businessmen who have set us on this course, out of their desire to maximize their short-term personal profits, even if it leads to a national disaster and tragedy on the scale of the first Civil War.

A counter protest is the dumbest possible thing that Conservatives could do. First, there is no way to bring out the numbers anywhere near that of the illegals, and the media would make great hay with the comparison. Second, you can be sure that any Conservative protest would be met with people who's sole mission would be to cause disruption and possible violence, further discrediting your mission. You can count on people dressed as KKK members coming to 'support' your rally. The Republican party would never recover from it. I hope those planning border security rallies will take note and knock it off, because it is a recipe for disaster.

Jim, by banning Travis McGee, you are simply shooting the messenger. I'm guessing that it was Travis' "I hope that thousands of traitor Quislings are hung" remark that got you PO'd.
If that's the case -- Trav, perhaps Jim would let you back on if you left that particular sentiment out.
We live in interesting times, gentlemen, and we are allies in preserving our Republic. It is typical of domestic issues that things get heated.
Please let's reconsider both banning the bring of bad news and and the grim rhetoric. The goal is too great to let our human frailties get in the way.

Being a patriot is never popular or easy it seams that a lot of people on this board are to frightened to realize how deep of a hole we are in.
I see hundreds of posts that loosely advocate violence much more that what the assumed line that got a true patriot banned from this forum, I also see loads of personal attacks without refuting the ideas of those being attacked but just childish name calling. I make no quarrel with those who own the site and if thats the way they want it so be it.
But it sure looks like that FR is becoming a place for those who agree with each other to pat each other on the back and any items that don't tote the RNC line are verboten

I understand that whomever pays the bills makes the rules The problem with that statement is, the bills at FR are not paid by one person. My husband & I contribute a small amount each month to this web site.
Seeing Travis McGee banned for saying what (most) of us are thinking makes we want to reconsider visiting this place. Especially when I have seen troublemakers allowed to roam free & good folk get banned.

Jim in all fairness this issue {Travis was mentioning} has been openly discussed & debated by some pretty clear minded respected Conservative thinkers and seen to be a likely reality in our nations future.
IIRC was not Bill Lind an official guest speaker at some FR events? Bill Lind and another man Brad Keena current Communications Director for Representative Dennis Rehberg (R-MT At-Large) debated this together with other well known Conservatives.
Back somewhere in the mid 1990's if you had a big dish satellite system their show was on what was called N.E.T. These were not Tin Foil Kooks BTW. The host of shows included many big name conservatives. Keena and Lind hosted a show called The Next Revolution. Don't let the name throw you it was excellent conservative debates. The network was originally started by Paul Weyrich and later the networks name was changed to America's Voice.
Anyway Lind and Kenna would discuss this very issue in depth the very real possibility of a cultural war in the southwest over illegal immigration and a reconquest or attempt at such by the Mexican government. There scenarios involved a possible Civil War over this. Lind BTW also wrote this piece on another serious matter called Cultural Marxism http://www.academia.org/lectures/lind1.html or Political Correctness. These guys were not and are not kooks they are highly respected Conservative spokesman and authors. Look up their Bio's.
They did not advocate overthrowing the U.S. government etc they advocated defending it. There are quite a few hits using Bill Lind or Brad Keena +The Next Revolution also. Any Freeper who ever saw this great and highly educational show will tell you I'm not making this up. Actually I think your web site got a lot of positive coverage from N.E.T. IIRC.

What do I call illegal immigrants who illegally demand rights? I call them terrorists because :
1. They are BLATANTLY breaking the law by being here illegally
2. They are ASSAULTING people who have contrasting viewpoints
3. They are DELIBERATELY trying to overthrow the country
#2 is proof enough that they are terrorists.
We need to protect the borders...and if it takes a military draft to do that, then so be it.

FreeRepublic bans those of us that fear the Republic has been invaded?
FreeRepublic bans those of us that recognize the destruction of America's culture or a civil war is a possible result of invasion through uncontrolled borders?
FreeRepublic bans those of us that see the harbingers of a future that former warriors hate to think of being repeated in the future of this Republic.
Those of us that were sent to commit violence against those that attacked foreign governments, are forbidden from warning or predicting that violence can be repeated right here in America?
Those of us that embarrass or frighten keyboard warriors, with a clear description of what can come from national denial of the circumstances we face from totally uncontrolled illegal immigration and granting "rights" and "entitlements" to burglars who sneak into our homes...
You're the boss.. This is your sandbox... You make the rules...
Perhaps the forum has become a place where those of us that think as we do - are now unwelcome vocal or financial contributors....
I'll "self ban" my own comments, while I "lurk" to follow this situation and "learn the rules"......
