There’s a constant drone about the “Nation of Immigrants” America has always proudly claimed to be, but now it’s being used as a slogan for those who believe we should accept absolutely anybody - even if they have absolutely no legal right to be here.
Yes, we are a nation of immigrants - all our ancestors came here from someplace else - but the difference is they all came here legally and came to be American citizens.
The illegals that come here for a job or for some other reason don’t come to become American citizens.

Really you can prove that? I don't buy it and no one has come up with anything that sounds like a common sense solution to any of this. Deal in the real, not the ideal.

Now the rest of us who are always complaining about what the President is or is not doing (I'm one of the biggest whiners) need to get off our duffs and take a page from jveritas. Let's start seeing how we can get his blog the coverage it needs so his work won't be in vain. Pick someone from your local paper you think might actually want to get the truth out and send him/her the link to his blog. If every person reading this thread sends it to one person in the media we might actually be able to start getting the word out there. I've already sent it to one person I know and am thinking of a few more who might just be interested. We can't let the work of jveritas be in vain.
