We have some walls and people go over them and under them.- no one is saying it will be perfect....nothing is.. if that were the standard- LOL! no solutions would ever be attempted...
Have you looked at the terrain down there? not personally- if I saw the terrain- then what? we can build a bridge from Florida to the keys- we can build a wall....we can get to the moon....we can build a wall.....
Why not a more practical way for people to come in? Why not instead of creating an entire new bureaucracy work with Faith based groups to get people signed up for SS and registered with green cards? Spread the word that there are no more jobs. We treat these folks like they are not folks at all. I have no idea where to even start..Ding people up for Social Security? HUH? Green Cards? I have no problem with giving people green cards.. but I am gainst giving anyone another stinking green card until they start enforcing the law against those that have already broken the time limits, etc on the ones currently given...that is just common sense.. as for no more jobs? there are plenty of jobs for illegals... more for them than for us- because they will work for less.....I don't think that is a good thing... we need to demand the gov't stop cowering in the corner and start busting the business owners who are brekaing the laws......what kind of an example is it to show businesses that doing business legally is stupid....?
Treating them like they are not folks? The worst thing in the world I can do for my kids is to treat them like victims and like they have no power. that cripples them. I expect them to do the right thing... it is the BEST thing I can do for them....
The sad part is that no matter how easy you make the legal immigration process, you will still have to have a quota. Once that quota is met, you start to turn away people. These people will once again try to break our laws and enter illegally. If we do not start to guard our borders, the problem will never end.
